There is no verse that better captures the motivation behind the work of Compassion First and there is no better remedy for the soul. As our lives collide with the lives of those in such great need, there is nothing that proves more potent than that of love—it has the capacity to free the most afflicted captive. We believe it and we’ve seen it.
If all we had to offer was a state-of-the-art facility, 24-hour security, drill sergeants keeping rhythm to schedules, and food on the table, it would all be for naught. Love is what makes security guards big brothers, teachers mentors, and Sarah’s House a home full of family.
And as much as the lives of those living across the world are being renewed day by day, we hope you too are experiencing the freeing, healing, transformative power of love—afterall, you too are a big part of this family.

These are items or projects that better our program and impact the lives of those we serve.
