The market is working with Biehl's Circle B Turkey Ranch in Mancelona to provide GMO-, hormone- and antibiotic-free, all-naturalfree-range turkeys for $3.75 per pound. There will also be a limited quantity of heritage birds from Harnois Farm, based near AnnArbor, for $16 per pound.

"The heritage birds are not only free to roam but free to forage as well, which gives them a diet closest to birds found in nature,"Louya said.

Birds are typically 15-20 pounds. Orders can be placed in the store, by phone at (313) 377-8262 or through The Farmer's HandFacebook page. Order cutoff is Wednesday.

The Farmer's Hand will also participate in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26, offering gift boxes of Michigan-made items andspecial sales all day.

Beginning this weekend, GreenSpace Cafe in Ferndale will offer brunch 11 a.m.-2p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant will also continue to serve lunch anddinner on Saturdays. On Sundays, only brunch will be served.

"The number of requests from our patrons to add a brunch menu has beenoverwhelming. We carefully constructed the most delicious and nutritious menu tooffer a brunch with benefits," said Daniel Kahn, who co-owns the restaurant with hisfather, Joel Kahn, M.D.

Highlights from the brunch menu include hearty purple masa pancakes withcaramel, blackberries, almond crumble and maple syrup; fingerling potato hashwith kale, sweet potatoes, tempeh, brown rice and romesco sauce; a spicy breakfastburrito with tofu, brown rice, black beans, potatoes, local greens, salsa verde andcashew sour cream; an English breakfast of scrambled tofu, blackened tempeh,sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomato and home fries; along with custom cocktails,raw juices, coffee, tea and more.

GreenSpace is at 215 W. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale.

Buddy's Pizza will open an Ann Arbor area location in late 2017, its 12th location and farthest from its original store at McNicholsRoad and Conant Street in Detroit.

The full-service restaurant will be more than 6,000 square feet and include indoor and outdoor seating for more than 200 people, itsaid in a news release. It will also feature a bar, banquet room and carry-out space.

The new location will be in the Pittsfield Place development on Ann Arbor-Saline Road in Pittsfield Township.

C.A.Y.A. Smokehouse Grill's special "Thanksgiving To Go" features smoked turkey and all the trimmings as well as pumpkin pie.Packages for 8-10 guests start at $150, 12-15 guests at $225 and 18-20 people at $300. Extra pies are available for $9 each. Custommenus are also available upon request.

Big Rock Chophouse's menu features Amish, locally sourced turkey. Customers can choose an oven-ready turkey for $275 or acooked and carved turkey for $300. The holiday package also includes sides such as sweet potato casserole and cranberry relish aswell as a pumpkin pie. It will serve 8-10 guests. Additional sides, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and wine can also be ordered.

All orders must be received by Nov. 20 and picked up at 245 S. Eaton St. 2-7 p.m. Nov. 23.
