Final Concept Design
Yea Railway Reserve Playspace0 21 3 4 5m
IntroductionThe Yea community's main play space at the historic Yea Railways Station Reserve is being redeveloped. Council want to enliven the space and broaden its appeal to everyone in our community, cater for younger and older age groups as well as providing all-ability access.
Proposed planThe play space will still retain the current train theme. A new rocking train with accesible swaying passenger trailer will replace the current train.
The existing equipment will be replaced with a new play structure and nature-based play elements like logs, rocks and plants will be introduced. A double flying fox and nest swing is also proposed.
The existing fitness equipment station will be relocated adjacent to the main railway trail.
We want your feedback on the playground.
