A successful Lexington business family has a very specialposition available for a House Manager/Housekeeper torun their household. The Assistant Director of Academic Testingoversees the daily operations of the Office ofAcademic Testing and its staff, under theaegis of the Director of Academic Readinessand Testing. The Assistant Director works inconjunction with a team of professional uni-versity staff and highly trained student staffto ensure proper academic placement ofincoming first-year students. He or she alsosupports the assessment efforts of academ-ic offices and student progress towarddegree. In addition, he or she coordinatesand oversees testing for students complet-ing career-path assessments. The success-ful candidate for this position will be a moti-vated, self-starter. He or she should have aninterest in assessment and its impact onstudent readiness, degree completion andcareer progression. The ideal candidate willbe a creative thinker with an interest in pro-gram management, development andenhancement. He or she should have abackground in higher education with experi-ence in supervising others in a higher edu-cation, non-profit or corporate setting. TheAssistant Director of Academic Testing willbe expected to work with a wide variety ofcampus, local, middle school, high schooland regional community partners. This is ahigh profile position that requires the abilityto work well with a wide variety of people.The Assistant Director is expected to worksome weekends and some evenings. Thesuccessful candidate will possess superiorwritten and oral communication skills. ABachelor’s degree is required as are threeyears of related work experience, to includesupervisory experience, preferably in highereducation or corporate assessment withtesting program experience.
