• New York State’s comprehensive course code catalog will be adopted from the NCES SCED identifiers.
• SED intends to make a “frequently-used” subset available to assist in reporting.
• LEAs would not be required to adopt the State codes, but they will have to map to the codes for reporting purposes in the 2011-12 school year.
