Challenge
• Challenge: • Create a sustainable wireless mesh network above water
throughout the East and Hudson rivers of New York City, that would allow NYWATERWAY to keep constant connecFvity with our fleet of vessels and upland faciliFes.
• Goals: • Real Fme messaging via on-‐board displays and public address
system. • Live streaming of on-‐board CCTV video cameras. • Direct line of communicaFon with captains via VOIP phones. • Wi-‐Fi for passengers.
