• Chile: Food labeling must comply with the technical rules on nutritional guidelines according to Resolución Exenta N° 764/09.

• Brazil: Foods must be registered in the category of “Alimentos com Alegações de Propriedade Funcional e ou de Saúde” and their efficacy proven according to regulations 18/99 and 19/99.

• European Union: Food labeling must comply with Commission Regulation (EC) No 608/2004.

• United States: Food labeling must comply with Regulation 21 CFR 101.83.
