Nueva Training Center for Giftedness and Creativity aims to nurture those individuals who have exceptional ability. The Center is dedicated to facilitating the integration of knowledge and intelligence by supporting gifted and creative individuals.

This will be done by creating an environment that generates transformational effects across the community. This, in turn, will engender social, economic, and cultural development. Ultimately, this will develop the full potential of individual to lead productive and creative lives.

Our goals extend beyond the limits of serving a specific single entity as part of the community. We shall serve the nation as a whole by working on the major aspects within the society that will transform it into a community in which gifted youths are welcomed, encouraged and rewarded.

Start a Team. Choose Your Challenge.

• Design and build Equipment that retrieves Parts and delivers Products.

• Assemble Products from team-provided Parts to fill Orders, and use the Products in your team’s Presentation.

• Earn extra points by deciding how best to Orders with no Parts or Products left over in the Assembly Area.

• Present a team-created story about something that happens just in time.

• Learn about differenttypes of News Stories.• Learn about Cause-and-effect relationships.• Use Cooperative Human Scenery and Props to enhance

your Skit.• Create a 5-minute Improvisational Skit about the

relationship between two unrelated News Stories.• Have all your plans suddenly become totally

discombobulated by a One-Minute Glitch (OMG)!

• Design, build and test a Structure made entirely out of wood and glue to hold weight and contain Tournament- provided golf balls.

• Design and build a Delivery Device that will deposit the golf balls, one at a time, into the Structure.

• Create and present an original Story about a “Captivator.”• Integrate the Weight Placement and Golf Ball Delivery

into the Story.

• Use creative problem solving tools to identify and select at least one real community need.

• Design and carry out a Project to address the need.• Create an Advertisement and use it in your Project.• Create a Marketing Brochure to describe your Project.• Share your Project at the Tournament with an

entertaining live Presentation.

• Learn about toys and how they have changed over time.• Create a play about making the last toy that will ever be

made.• Explore how your team works together to make decisions

about your team-created toy.

• Create and present a theatrical performance that tells a Story about the use of solar energy.

• Integrate research about past and/or current uses of solar energy.

• Design and create a Solar Energy Prototype that demonstrates a new way to collect, capture and use solar energy.

• Design and provide Theatrical Lighting to illuminate the Presentation and to create special theatrical effects.

• Present a Movie Trailer involving characters from at least two Nations.

• Design a Cinematic Special Effect and feature it in the Movie Trailer.

• Create an Original Soundtrack that complements the Movie Trailer.

What we doGIFTEDNESS PROGRAM The Center will identify gifted children in early stages (schools) through international measurement tools, and develop their abilities and talents through an educational system.

We will also attend to Individuals with physical and Artistic talents, by developing their talents through specialized programs that will be co-managed with global institutions and centers to ensure a high level of competency and to translate the abilities of gifted people into innovative ideas and creative performances.

We shall move beyond the limits of serving a specific single entity as part of the community. We shall instead serve the nation as a whole by working on the major aspects within the society that will make it one in which gifted entities are welcomed, encouraged and rewarded.

The Giftedness Programs will entail three main major areas :

Science & Technology: to develop highly creative thinkers who demonstrate exceptional creative self-expression in the field of Mathematics, Science, and Technology.

Visual and performing Arts: encompasses Visual Arts, Literary Arts, and Theatre and Film Making.

Leadership and Intellectuality: designed to raise the quality of gifted people and ensure personal development support

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Without full appreciation and support of the community, the needs and inspirations of our gifted and creative individuals cannot be fully addressed. With community support, we can maintain our commitment to keeping our goals to be a truly nurturing center for our gifted and talented individuals.

We at Nueva Training Center for Giftedness and Creativity strongly believe in building the culture of giftedness and creativity in our community through an interactive environment in order to deliver our promised services to our nation.

The Center will provide workshops and conferences, and will build partnerships with the government and private sector to support our mission to provide opportunities for community members. Moreover, public contests and competitions will be conducted to encourage a culture of giftedness and creativity within
