WHAT IS IT? WHO IS IT FOR?

All Singaporeans aged 25 and above received an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. Your credits will not expire and the government will provide periodic top-ups, so you may accumulate your credits.

SkillsFuture Credit is for all Singaporeans aged 25 and above.

ICT Professional Conversion ProgrammeAbout ICT Professional Conversion Programme

To meet the ICT sector’s manpower demands, NTUC LearningHub is proud to partner with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) to offer a place-and-train (PnT) Professional Conversion Programme.

Funding for Employers

The PCP facilitates job-switching between industries by providing subsidies for salaries and course fees incurred by employers during the training period.

*Course fee grant for classroom traininga. SMEs: Up to 90% course fee subsidyb. Non-SMEs: Up to 70% course fee subsidyc. Singaporeans aged ≥ 40 (applicable for both non-SME and SME sponsored): Up to 90% course fee subsidy

In addition to a course fee grant, employers can also claim absentee payroll (AP) funding to defray the manpower costs incurred when they send PCP candidates for classroom training.

Note: For on-the-job training, salary support is for up to 6 months only. It is applicable on gross monthly salary (excluding CPF).

The Programme is open to mid-career switchers and aims to train mid-career

individuals to become qualified IT Professionals. Candidates

must secure employment with a participating employer to qualify

for the ICT PCP.

Upon completion of the training, participants are required to serve

a minimum service period with the employer.

In addition to classroom training, ICT PCP trainees will be required to undergo on-the-job training at

their workplace.

The Environmental Cleaning WSQ focuses on skills development for the cleaning industry at the national level and includes skills standards, assessment strategies and training curriculum.

The following are the objectives of the Environmental Cleaning WSQ:• To provide the relevant skills and competencies that are recognised by the cleaning industry and employers and

supports the Progressive Work Model.

• Chart the training and progression pathways for the cleaning workforce by mapping the skill and competencies against occupational groups at various levels.
