Taking a Leap of Faith...

4 Months ago the Lord showed gave me a brilliant idea tostart a newsletter to reveal according to His grace thatwhich He has been teaching and revealing to me.

One and half years ago, 26 January 2002, the Lord gaveme a dream about a plough that ploughed the earth andmade certain cycles until finally I to would be able to befruitful to the Lord Jesus Christ. During the week I askedthe Lord to show me where in that dream I am currently,because lately I have been receiving word from alldirections that my ministry was about to begin. I asked theLord to show me where in the dream I was now? PraiseGod, because on the 16th October 2003 He gave me adream. I call it “Taking a Leap of Faith”!

In this dream the Lord revealed to me according to thewords all ready confirmed to me that He was about torelease me.

Taking a Leap of Faith – A Prayer Answered!

During the night I had a dream, but I only remembered apart of the dream. In the dream I jumped up and used thepower in my legs to jump upwards. I was able to jump sohigh that I could nearly jump twice the high of a normalman's length. It felt like I was flying. I jumped a few times,because of the exuberance of the feeling to be able to jumpso high. I was like a fish in the sky! I also felt like I wasswimming in the air!

In the next part of the dream I was on a basketball court. Iran over towards the west and jumped to see whether Icould dunk the ball. I was pleasantly surprise to jump sohigh that I could look over the hoop and dunk the ball.

Although I didn't have a ball with me I was able to jumpthat high. I hanged on to the hoop and found that the hoopwas standing up and the ball couldn't go through it. Ijumped again and hanged unto the hoop that was standing

upright and pulled it down so that it could allow a ball togo through.

I was amazed at the dream the Lord had givenme, because in the dream of the Plough that Iwas asking the Lord about I also jumped at a

certain stage. God is faithful to those who trust in Him.

I have been asking God lately when would I start pickingthe fruit of the harvest I have been sowing with, with tearsas the Psalmist said:

1When the LORD brought back thecaptivity of Zion,

We were like those who dream.2Then our mouth was filled with laughter,

And our tongue with singing.Then they said among the nations,“The LORD has done great things for

them.”3The LORD has done great things for us,

And we are glad.4Bring back our captivity, O LORD,

As the streams in the South.5Those who sow in tears

Shall

reap in joy.6He who continually goes forth weeping,

Bearing seed for sowing,Shall doubtless come again with

rejoicing,Bringing his sheaves with him.(Ps 126:1-6)

I was overwhelmed withamazement, because God DIDanswer my prayer!!

We were like those who dream…

Undoubtedly, I have gone through much suffering to cometo this point. I had to learn hard and fast. Although it feltlike it was long and slow. Truly with God a thousand yearsare as a day and one single day as a 1000 years. But praisebe to God who brought me through deadly perils and willcontinue to do so until the day of Christ. Yes I learned whatPaul meant when he said: shall distress or depression orloneliness separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesusour Lord and Saviour. (Rom 8:35)I believe the dream briefly means that the Lord is callingme to a large leap in faith. A leap and an excelling in thoseareas I have never developed in: Financial, relationshipswith people and even writing.

The Lost sonHaving gone through this severe time of eye opening Icame to a complete stand still in my life. I felt likeeverything around me was falling to pieces. Have you everfelt that way?

When anyone look in from the outside I believe they wouldsay God is with you mighty warrior, but I never want yourlife. I praise and thank God that I don’t have to do thingsthe way you’re doing it!

I have chosen to develop myspiritual life first. I have triedto followed God’s perfect willfor my life. I have even as theword of God said: Gave up allfor the sake of Christ – I havelives like a missionary in South Africa. But is that God’sperfect will for my life?

I have even with hold my self from women for 4.5 year ofmy life. I have a Paul said tasted what He meant to say it isbeter not to be married for you “...will have many sorrowsand I want to spare you of all of this...” or 32But I want youto be without care. He who is unmarried cares for thethings of the Lord—how he may please the Lord. 33But hewho is married cares about the things of the world—howhe may please his wife.(1 Cor 7:32)

Now however I understand according to revelation theHoly Spirit has given me that I must break–up all fallowground... as the prophet Hosea wrote:

12Sow for yourselves righteousness;Reap in mercy;

13You have ploughed wickedness;You have reaped iniquity.You have eaten the fruit of lies,

Because you trusted in your own way,in the multitude of your mighty men.(Hos 10:12)

We all have fallow ground. Those are the places in our liveswhich:

• We have never explored, (Talents unused)• Never put into practice for the Lord’s sake.

(Financial)It is also those places:

• We were to insecure to give to the Lord, (Pasthurts, Unconfessed sin)

• Shame and fear of rejection.• Lack of acceptance and understanding of God’s

love (Emotional deprivation, not knowing love andGod)

• Misinterpretation of the Word of God. (2 Pet1:219-20)

We are inconstant battlefor our souls. Ifour souls aredistracted wehave an inabilityto hear God’s

voice and to come into the presence of God. One morningwhile I was fighting the Lord gave me the word of David,which is the same word of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Plead my cause, O LORD, with those who strivewith me;

Fight against those who fight against me.2Take hold of shield and buckler,

And stand up for my help.3Also draw out the spear,

And stop those who pursue me.Say to my soul,

“I am your salvation.” (Ps 35:1-3)

Break up your fallow ground,For it is time to seek the LORD,till He comes and rains

righteousness on you.

The LeapFor 4 year now I have lived by faith as I have felt the Lordhas called me to do, but now a new season has come. Greatbreak through is about to come in every area of my life,because of renewed thinking. I had misunderstoodscriptures and also what the Lord was trying to reach in mylife. Since I fell in love a great turmoil and great realizationcame: I have suffered long enough. I have more potentialthan that which I have lived. The live I have chosen hadbrought me many powerful miraculous breakthroughs, butI couldn’t come to my full potential in Christ. I was still unrelatable and unusable to the world. Was I so spiritualminded that I was of no earthly good? No I was notpractical. I didn’t understand what Jesus meant when Hesaid: ...be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves orWe must be pure towards God and the world in our hearts,but not naive in the cunningness of the world and itsschemes for God himself said:

25With the merciful You will show Yourselfmerciful;

With a blameless man You will showYourself blameless;

26With the pure You will show Yourself pure;And with the devious You will show

Yourself shrewd.27For You will save the humble people,

But will bring down haughty looks.(Ps 18:25-27)

They us money to make and break the world. We needmoney too. Even as Jesus said: “For the sons of this worldare more shrewd in their generation than the sons oflight. 9“And I say to you, make friends for yourselves byunrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they mayreceive you into an everlasting home. 10“He who is faithfulin what is least is faithful also in much; and he who isunjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 11“Thereforeif you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,who will commit to your trust the true riches?” (Luke 16:8-11)

The Lord has blessed me with a degree in Engineering.This could be a way that Godwould open a door He couldopen no other way to me. Hehas also shown me many

things that are in His will for my life. The Lord confirmedHis word and will to other and to me about teachingEnglish in China or the Eastern Nations. There is apossibility to work as a youth worker for Kohin or getsponsors and join a large missions organization like OM orYAWN. Whatever the Lord’s will is that I will do even asJesus said: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air havenests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”(Luke 9:57)

In conclusion, the Lord gave me a promise:

1I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?

2My help comes from the LORD,Who made heaven and earth.

3He will not allow your foot to bemoved;

He who keeps you will not slumber.4Behold, He who keeps Israel

Shall neither slumber nor sleep.5The LORD is your keeper;

The LORD is your shade at your righthand.

6The sun shall not strike you by day,Nor the moon by night.

7The LORD shall preserve you from allevil;

He shall preserve your soul.8The LORD shall preserve your going out

and your coming inFrom this time forth, and even forevermore.(Ps 121)

I praise God. Although we are unfaithful and ignorant ofHis plans. He remains faithful.

Just after these words came through the Lord gave meanother dream:

The Cloud Break

As I looked I saw dark clouds in the sky. There were twolayers of clouds. The one layer above the other. Suddenly

as if without warning a great mass ofwater like with the opening of a largefloodgate fell downwards towards thecloud underneath it. It looked like the

“Therefore be shrewd as serpents andharmless as doves.” (Matt 10:16)

cloud just broke open, because it had no more capacity tocarry the weight of the water mass.

The most amazing part of the dream was to see how tons ofwater with a cloud break with massive impact crashed intothe cloud underneath it, but it wouldn’t give way. Thecloud mass underneath did take a heavy beating, but wasstill able to resist the force of the water, which like a floodcrashed from above into it. I could see how the cloud at thebottom like a large water mattress absorbed the impact ofthe water from above. There were some releases of rain oreven ice after such an impact, but the bulk of the waterwouldn’t rain down.

As I looked I saw how this same phenomenon occurred 3times as if trying to breakthrough the cloud that wasblocking its way on its way downward. Every time therewas some release for a time of some rain or ice that fell tothe ground after impact, but even then, sometimes theupward draft was so strong that even this water couldn’treach the ground!

If you know something about upward drafts you willunderstand the parable better. There is some kind ofequilibrium between the amount of water being held upand the upward wind streams. Great upward drafts cankeep tons of water in the airunder the right conditions.

The cloud underneath actedlike a buffer that prevented itform raining on the earth. Ialso couldn’t, but wonderingwhether when this cloud wouldbreak through there wouldn’tbe a complete flooding on theearth. Would men be able tohandle such power, force andimpact? As I typed the HolySpirit was saying to me that Heis revealing to me a truth in thespiritual realm that is takingplace in my life right now. He isalso busy teaching me apowerful spiritual principal.

For clouds to form a wonderful process starts. Fog in thesky condenses on microscopic particles in the air. It is seenas very high clouds called cirrus clouds. As the airtemperature becomes colder higher in the atmosphere theformation of water drop are bigger and the upward draft isstronger. Water falls under gravity and pass fog particlesand become bigger and bigger with every cycle of theupward draft. If the draft is so strong it could reach verylow temperatures and ice will form. Depending on thespecific condition either ice rain, hail or snow could form.Some times under very specific circumstances ice wouldnot form, but the upward draft would not be able to carrythe weight of the water, and a cloud break would occur.Massive amounts of water will just fall to the ground andflood everything underneath it. It is a very hazardouscondition, because there is not a controlled release of waterto the earth as rain, water will be falling, like out of abucket, to the earth.

What is the Lord trying to say to us? There is a very strongbuild–up in the spirit realm for rain. We need rain to plantand to grow food. The upward draft could be those thingsin the spirit that are resisting a breakthrough in the spiritfor God’s provision and power. In the dream it is clear thatat a certain time even those things will not be able to holdback the rain. The only problem is then the breakthrough

will be like a flood, whichwould be too much to handle.But there is some kind of abuffer in the way preventingthe water meant for the earthnot to reach its destination.What could this buffer be?Must is be removed? And how?

We some times experience themanifested presence of God indifferent ways in our lives. Itcould be blessing of finances,provision, spiritualunderstanding, unity in thechurch, deliverance andhealing from the past. Newlevels of joy and happiness areexperienced daily. Greateramounts of people come to theLord Jesus Christ. Prayers are

answered supernaturally. Supernatural phenomenons arenot uncommon anymore eg. Miraculous healings occurmore frequently, powerful witnessing and powerfulmanifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A return ofJesus’ words: “They will do what I have being doing andeven greater thing than these...” and ultimately thefulfilment of the words of Daniël: …they will do greatexploits for the Lord’s sake…” It will be a return to firstcentury Christianity and the 3rd reformation prophesiedby Kobus van Rensburg. This will be a spiritual revival!

God is calling us to a higher level of prayer, commitmentand lifestyle in order to overcome the resistance in thespirit. It calls for improved relationship with the Lord,improved skills in prayer and warfare, increase in ourknowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, stronger intercessionand greater obedience to the Holy Spirit in order to find

out what is the buffer and to overcome that resistancefactor?

We must inquire of the Lord how to wage war in the spiritso that we will not be ignorant of Satan’s schemes. Mymajor interest is in the buffer! Is it good or bad? We mustask the Lord how to strategize to open the floodgates ofheaven!

As I prayed a few days later, suddenly while meditating onthe will of the Lord for my life and confessing some sinsthe Lord through His Spirit just uttered the answer to me.

In the last few years the Lord has given me strongrevelation in prophetic things and in the things of thespirit. It was like a burst of understanding and revelation Isaid to my own surprise. Praise God who always answersour prayers. I suddenly realized that I had powerfulbreakthroughs in every spiritual area of my life. In tonguesand the interpretation of tongues, in healing anddeliverance, in personal prophecies and revelationprophecies, in intercession and all kinds of spiritualteaching from the annointing, but couldn’t fully utilise thisgreat knowledge given from God. I remained ineffective in

my knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as Peter the apostleonce wrote by the Holy Spirit:

2Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge ofGod and of Jesus our Lord, 3as His divine power has givento us all things that pertain to life and godliness,through the knowledge of Him who called us by gloryand virtue, 4by which have been given to us exceedinglygreat and precious promises, that through these you maybe partakers of the divine nature, having escaped thecorruption that is in the world through lust. 5But also forthis very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faithvirtue, to virtue knowledge, 6to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverancegodliness, 7to godliness brotherly kindness, and tobrotherly kindness love. 8For if these things are yours andabound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in

the knowledge ofour Lord JesusChrist. 9For he wholacks these things isshort-sighted, even toblindness, and has

forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.10Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make yourcall and election sure, for if you do these things you willnever stumble; 11for so an entrance will be supplied toyou abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lordand Saviour Jesus Christ. (2 Pet 1:2-11)

Therefore pray for:• Your fallow ground to broken up• Ask for revelation to what is buffering your

blessings.• Take a leap of faith and start developing and

nurturing that talent you have not developed yet.

As intercessors pray for me for:• Open doors for financial support• Balanced life in harmony with the Holy Spirit• Protection against attacks form the enemy• Revelation of the lies believed in all these years.• To be an effective witness in a crooked world.

IF it is the Lord’s will I will start sending newslettersmonthly and later even weekly. Remember these are onlyintended to be an encouragement and as an intercessionrequest to gain higher levels of breakthrough in thespiritual realm. As the Psalmist says:

I have felt that too little practical lifestyle messages areshared to build-up, restore and disciple those who havereached a Plato in there relationship with God. Accordingto the word the writer says:

12Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heartof unbelief in departing from the living God; 13but , while itis called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through thedeceitfulness of sin. (Heb 3:12)

And

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love andgood works, 25not forsaking the assembling of ourselvestogether, as is the manner of some, but exhorting oneanother, and so much the more as you see the Dayapproaching. (Heb 10:24 –26)

To the Praise of God the Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ!
