NSA Meetings Regional Meetings of NSA members are sponsored locally in the U.S. and Canada, where informal gatherings allow people to buy, sell or trade items for collection or use. Members meet each other and see the images and equipment collected or created by people of similar interests. In addition, the annual NSA National Convention and Trade Fair attracts members from all over the world, as well as many photographica dealers, photo historians, and experts in various state-of-the-art applications of stereo imaging. Each convention features stereo projection se- minar presentations, competitive exhibitions, an auction of fine photographica, and a large sales floor packed with images and equipment both an- tique and modern. The convention is held in a dif- ferent location in the U.S. each year, and is the high-point of the stereoscopic calendar. Stereoscopic Society The NSA is affiliated with the Stereoscopic Society of America. Its members are actively involved in taking stereo slides and prints, which they circu- late among themselves in folios for education, constructive criticism, and pure enjoyment. Mem- bership to the Stereoscopic Society is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada only. Membership/Subscriptions Membership to the NSA is open to all persons and institutions with an interest in any aspect of stereo imaging. All memberships follow the publi- shing year of Stereo World, which begins in March and extends to the next February with six issues and a membership directory. New memberships commence with the March/April issue of the calendar year in which the application is received. NSA European Membership A great number of NSA's members live outside the USA, mainly in Europe, but also in the rest of the World. If you are located in Europe and wish to become a member of the National Stereoscopic Association, there is no longer the need to pay for expensive letters to the USA, high bank charges to transfer money or intercontinental telephone calls. It's all handled by a representative of the NSA in Europe, accepting payments in Euro (€), and Pounds Sterling (£). Explore the World of Stereo Images With The National Stereoscopic Association
