The NRTA is a unique collection of member businesses and organizations that are
distinctively related to tourism. The goal of the NRTA is to provide greater
awareness of local community events throughout the County of Newell to
prospective tourists, and local residents. As a business or organization uniquely
related to the tourist industry in the County of Newell, we feel that your participation
in this collective organization will strengthen the voice of the local events for the
NRTA as a whole. Membership in the NRTA is unique in that it offers significant

Dinosaur Provincial Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Located 48 km northeast of Brooks (only 10 km from Patricia) along the Red
Deer River. Campground, day use picnic area and five self-guided hiking trails
open year round.
Campground on self-registration until Thursday, May 17 then again for the fall
starting Sept 3, 2012.

The Outdoor Swimming Pool is officially
opened. Everyone is welcome to wander in,
stay for a swim or a dip in the 10 person hot
tub. If you are coming in from out of Town,
please call in to avoid disappointment. We
are open seven days per week and yet have
unforeseen closures due to weather,
mechanical or other.

The Duke of Sutherland Water Park is
FREE for all users and has a brand new
design and all new equipment. There are
new spray heads, new obstacles, a water
gun section, a slide, and other fun sprayers
for children of all ages.
The park is open from May to September
depending on the weather and the hours are
from 9am to 9pm, every day.
The Lakeside Leisure center is open and
contains a 25 meter lane pool, Leisure/
Wave Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Steam Room,
Waterslide, Fitness Center, Lockers &
Showers, Flexhall, Subway, Curling Rink,
and Meeting Rooms.
