Welcome to another issue of Nozzom, where we share with you what has been happening with Giza Systems. I would like to start by wishing you all a Happy New Year. We, at Giza Systems, sincerely hope that 2013 will be a great and blessed year for all!
The beginning of the New Year always serves as a point in time where we take a moment to reflect on the previous year, assess our choices and achievements, and make resolutions for the coming year. It is a time that brings out the best in all of us, as we look forward to the coming year with hope, perseverance, and determination -- always striving for better.
And with this aspiration and sincere striving, Giza Systems is steadfast in its plans of change for the better. We pledge this to our staff, our clients, and all our stakeholders and invite you all to make 2013 a year that makes a difference to you and your community.

Giza Systems recently formed yet another exciting partnership and
joined forces with Ferranti by becoming their official partner for
MECOMS™, Ferranti’s Business Support System for energy and utility
companies. Giza Systems will be handling the sales, implementation,
and support services in the Middle East and Africa.
“Giza Systems will be working with Ferranti to develop the only Arabic
localized version of the MECOMS™ software, delivering complete
solutions to utility customers looking to drive benefits from smart
metering or systems modernization projects,” stated Osama Sorour,
Chief Strategy Officer. “We are thrilled to be working with Ferranti and
expect to yield great results from this strategic partnership,” he added.
This new partnership will enable Ferranti to better serve potential
customers in the region by providing access - through Giza Systems
- to implementation services closer to home, with local knowledge,
local language, and local rates. Furthermore, providing sustainable
support by an expert like Giza Systems, as well as the provision
of a much fuller range of services than just the implementation of
the MECOMS ™ CIS/ MDM solution administration suite including
metering solutions and SCADA solutions will be part of the service
package providing the highest value to customers in the region. The
partnership will also serve as a kind of roadmap for product features
development through the creation of a strong feedback channel
directly from the customers.
“Ferranti chose Giza Systems for this strategic partnership primarily
because of its strong experience and in-depth understanding of the
needs of utility customers,” commented Dirk Michaels, CEO Ferranti.
“We see opportunities for modernization of legacy solutions in most
utility companies in the region, and we believe that what we are
offering the most relevant solution to the requirements of the market,
as liberalization of energy and utility markets grow across the region,”
he added.
The new partnership promises to be extremely beneficial to both Giza
Systems and Ferranti in terms of regional market penetration and
delivery of complete solutions to utility customers. Ferranti provides a
market leading application for utility administration comprising meter
data management, billing, customer care, and service management.
The solution is integrated into Microsoft’s Dynamics AX enterprise
ERP suite and is capable of linking into other ERP vendor platforms to
provide a complete solution for utility customers. Giza Systems brings
to the partnership in-depth experience and capability in delivering
both operational and administrative solutions and services for utility
customers, as well as a unique understanding of the regional market.

والتنفيذ البيع عمليات عن مسوؤلة سيستمز جيزة ستكون اإلتفاق وبهذا واملرافق. الطاقة

MECOMS™ ستعمل جيزة سيستمز مع »فريانتي« عىل تطوير النسخة املعربة من نظام«
لتوفري الحلول املتكاملة لعمالء قطاع املرافق الساعني للحصول عىل أقىص فائدة من العدادات
الذكية أو مشاريع تحديث األنظمة«. هكذا رصح املهندس أسامة رسور نائب الرئيس التنفيذي

وستضمن هذه الرشاكة الجديدة لرشكة »فريانتي« خدمة العمالء ىف املنطقة من خالل جيزة
سيستمز، عن طريق جعل الحلول ىف متناول اليد محلياً، بخربة جيزة سيستمز للسوق املحلية

Representatives from Addis Ababa Water and
Sanitation Authority (AAWSA) Senior Management
accepted Giza Systems’ invitation to visit its new state
of the art headquarters building located in New Cairo
to review the current progress of their billing and GIS
project.
Both Mr. Seyoum Berhanu, PMO Manager, and Mr.
Solomon Waltenigus, Billing Project PM, came to
Cairo in October 2012 to discuss the positive progress
taking place in the project being currently implemented
by Giza Systems for the AAWSA. They expressed
great satisfaction with the progress of the project
and professionalism of the staff. The AAWSA project
involves delivering solutions employing advanced
systems with flexible and modular components to
ensure enterprise-class scalability, performance, and
high availability.
Essentially, Giza Systems was commissioned to deploy water
management solutions encompassing customer information
management systems, meter work orders management, charging,
billing & payments, and collection management systems. The
solutions and services provided incorporate the employment of spot
billing machines, as well as the integration between billing systems,
GIS, ERP, and SBMs.
During their stay in Cairo, the representatives also visited a number
of water and wastewater treatment plants on which Giza Systems
had worked and which were relevant to AAWSA’s operations. The site
visits included both the Toukh Water Treatment Plant and the Rod
El Farag Plant, where they witnessed on-ground implementation of
water treatment solutions and water leakage detection systems.
Both Mr. Berhanu and Mr Waltenigus were extremely impressed
with their exposure to the different projects that Giza Systems had
executed, as well as the diversity of industries to which Giza Systems
caters. Moreover, they showed major interest in the advanced building
automation management systems implemented by Giza Systems in
its headquarters.
Following a very successful trip to Cairo, both representatives wrote
letters of appreciation to Giza Systems commending their staff,
projects, and the wide range of solutions offered to cater to the
diverse industries.

Implementation Project is part of the plan to extend Giza Systems

a billing system and GIS solutions in Addis Ababa will manage the
production of 400,000 consumer bills, and assist in monitoring the
distribution network for the AAWSA.

scheduled for Africa and the region in the coming few years.

وقد حرض كل من السيد سيوم بريهاو، مدير إدارة املرشوعات والسيد سولومون والتينيجاس،
مدير مرشوعات الفوترة، إىل القاهرة خالل شهر أكتوبر من العام املنرصم، وذلك ملناقشة أحدث
التطورات الواردة عىل مرشوع تقوم بتنفيذه جيزة سيستمز لصالح هيئة املياه والرصف الصحى
بأديس أبابا.
وقد جرت املناقشات بسالسة متخذة منحنى إيجايب بتعبري املندوبني عن رضائهم عن تطورات
املرشوع، واألسلوب املهني رفيع املستوى الذى يدير به فريق جيزة سيستمز العمل. ويتضمن
املرشوع حلوالً توظف أكرث األنظمة تطوراً وذات مكونات مرنة لضامن مستوى يليق بالعمليات
املعقدة للمؤسسات، وألداء أمثل، وتوافر دائم للخدمات.

جيزة سيستمز ىف مبناها الرئييس الحديث.
تقدير لرشكة جيزة سيستمز، بتوجيه خطابات املندوبان قام للقاهرة، الناجحة زيارتهم بعد
الحلول تعدد إىل باإلضافة نفذتها، التى املتعددة واملرشوعات عملها فريق عىل وتثنى
والخدمات التى تقدمها والتى تخدم املجاالت املتنوعة.

أبابا جزءاً من خطة جيزة سيستمز لزيادة مدى خدماتها ىف أفريقيا، وواحد من عدة مرشوعات
ىف جدول أعامل جيزة سيستمز ىف القارة السمراء.

Giza Arabia was awarded the project for construction of a Reverse
Osmosis (RO) water purification plant in the Training, Security and
Protection District of the Royal Guards at Al-Thumama, Riyadh, in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Relying on Giza Systems’ technical capabilities, extensive experience
and knowledge of the market, as well as its partnerships with global
leaders in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, the Ministry
of Water and Electricity, KSA awarded the project – located in Al-
Thumama – to Giza Arabia with confidence that the best results will
be achieved.
“Taking on this
project provides us
with a great opportunity to
penetrate the regional market in
the RO field. Working with the Saudi
Arabian Ministry of Water & Electricity
and breaking ground in this field is expected
to yield outstanding results,” commented Ashraf Attia,
Giza Arabia General Manager.
Giza Arabia’s scope of work includes the complete construction
management of the plant, including the civil, mechanical, electrical,
process control and utility aspects. This entails the supply,
design, engineering, procurement, installation, training, testing,
commissioning, and start-up of all systems included. The construction
of the new RO water plant aims at fulfilling the need for water
purification in the area, as well as establishing a strong infrastructure
for water and wastewater solutions.
With the addition of RO to its water and wastewater portfolio of
services and solutions, this project represents a major win for Giza
Arabia, which was selected for its expertise and competitive offer in
terms of cost, technical compliance, optimum design, and sourcing
capabilities.

Part of the Ministry of Electricity and
Energy initiative, the project aims at
providing the stations with reliable voice communication and data
transmission and relay to ensure substation monitoring and control.
The implementation of this project will contribute to solving a number
of issues on the site by supplying live-line installation and wide band
service, as well as effectively extending the lifetime of the solutions
and systems affected.
“Our expertise in integrated telecom solutions and our understanding
of the technicalities involved in integrating all the station sub-systems
from different partners like OFS-USA (ADSS), Ribe-Germany (fittings)
and TFO-Spain (accessories) with different protocols, uniquely
positions Giza Systems to fulfill the dual functions of IT-based
and engineering services geared towards the power and telecom
industries,” stated Osama Sorour, Chief Strategy Officer.
Giza Systems’ scope encompasses the surveying, engineering,
procurement, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of all
elements and aspects of the project. Executing the project will require
live-line working, which has for the most part been restricted due to
the critical nature of the installation affecting overall safety conditions.
“What is invigorating and intricate about this project is carrying out
our installation work, while operating under live-line conditions, which
essentially means working while everything is energized without any
electricity transmission interruption or shutdown,” explained Amr
Sherif, Transmission & Distribution Line of Business GM. He added,
“We hope that with Giza Systems’ successful implementation of this
project, companies will become more confident in commissioning
live-line operations.”
Opening the door to awarding live-line operations will effectually
impact the power industry in the execution of a number of projects
throughout Egypt, thus, revitalizing and reinforcing not only the
infrastructure, but also the economy in general.

فولت و مركز التحكم اإلقليمي، وذلك عن طريق ألياف عالية الجودة ذات عازل ذاىت يتميز
بالتكنولوجيا الفائقة مع طبقة الحامية املضادة للتتبع.
ويهدف املرشوع باعتباره جزءا من مبادرة وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة إىل تزويد املحطات بوسيلة
موثوق بها ويعتمد عليها لإلتصاالت ونقل البيانات الصوتية واملعلومات، وذلك لضامن املراقبة
الدامئة عىل املحطات و التحكم فيها. وسيساهم تنفيذ هذا املرشوع ىف حل عدد من املشكالت
األعامل، وتوفري خدمة الذى اليتناىف مع جدول الرتكيب املواقع، عن طريق تلك تواجه التى

Giza Systems participated at the 2nd International Conference and
Exhibition for Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation for 2012
organized by the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater. The
exhibition took place from the 3rd through the 5th of December, and
was held at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City,
Cairo.
The conference was attended by Dr. Abd El Qawy Khalifa, Minister
of Water and Sanitation Facilities, as well as a number of prominent
figures from different water and wastewater agencies and institutions.
The International Conference for Sustainable Water Supply and
Sanitation is an annual event held by the Ministry of Water and
Wastewater Utilities and the Holding Company for Water and
Wastewater, hosting and connecting major market players in the field
of water and wastewater treatment and utilities.
“We were very keen on taking part at the exhibition this year, for it was
a great opportunity to meet with our clients and suppliers, discussing
the latest technologies in the water and wastewater industries. Our
presence in events held by the Ministry are always rewarding, for they

الواحدة، وظروف معيشتهم.
برامج من املختلفة األنشطة ىف الطالب تسجيل عند املذكورة العوامل جميع إتخاذ ويتم

املصنف )ICDL( تدريب باملدرسة، تضمنت للمدرسني واإلداريني تدريبات بإعطاء سيستمز
عامليا، والذى ميكنهم من إستخدام الكمبيوتر واإلنرتنت بطالقة، ويحتوى عىل تعليم إستخدام
مبنى وذلك ىف وغريها، البيانات وقواعد والحسابات الكتابة ىف أوفيس مايكروسوفت برامج
رشكة جيزة سيستمز ىف التجمع الخامس بالقاهرة الجديدة.
الخاصة واألنظمة األجهزة لصيانة مبجهوداتهم سيستمز جيزة ىف العاملني بعض تطوع كام

Giza Systems understands that supporting education has now become
more critical than ever for the well-being and advancement of the
community. With that deep-rooted belief, Giza Systems Foundation
extends its efforts in supporting the cause through its work with
‘Khatawat School’ in ‘Istabl Antar’ to serve as a pilot project.
Selecting ‘Khatawat School’ as the pilot project for Giza Systems
Foundation’s initiative of employing ICT in education necessitated the
establishment of a base that accurately reflects the current situation at
the school. The relevance of which is to be able to objectively assess
any progress or results in the future to ensure that the results are
quantifiable, as well as ensure the scalability, sustainability, and ability
to replicate the pilot in other schools.
In order to better assess the actual situation of the community school,
Giza Systems Foundation has been closely working with ‘Tawasol
for Developing Istabl Antar’ NGO. Collaborating with Tawasol, the
Foundation conducted a number of evaluations and needs assessment
on the students, the students’ parents, the curricula, the teachers and
administrators, as well as the school itself.
By assessing these different aspects and variables, Giza Systems
Foundation was able to adopt a holistic approach concerning the pilot,
as it strived towards forming a comprehensive view in which relations,
interactions, and factors were identified. A sort of ecosystem was
mapped to better understand the relations and interactions among all
elements involved.
The assessments and surveys inquired about various elements
including the levels of computer literacy for students, teachers,
and administrators. They also probed into factors such as general
backgrounds of family members, parents’ educational levels,
employment status, income, number of dependents, and living
conditions.
All the factors are to be considered while enrolling the students in
different programs of education, vocational training, and community
center activities. The direction each student should take will be highly
influenced by their individual circumstances, needs and capabilities.
Furthermore, the results proved insightful in providing general
guidelines for the development of the curricula, as well as needed
competencies for the teachers and administrators.
Based on the assessments and surveys, a database for the students
was created to monitor and keep track of all the factors relating to
them. With regards to the teachers and administrators, classes to
strengthen computer literacy were identified.
To address the different recommendations revealed from the
surveys, volunteers from Giza Systems started by giving classes
to the teachers, then the administrators. The school’s teachers and
administrative team received International Computer Driving License
(ICDL) training, which is considered the world’s leading end-user
computer skills certification program offering them an internationally
accredited certification. The program entailed computer usage, word
processing, spreadsheets, using databases, presentations, as well as
web browsing and e-communication. The training took place at Giza
Systems’ premises.
Volunteers from Giza Systems also took on maintaining the hardware
and software installations of the smart school to satisfy its requirements,
as well as the installation of the required network for the school.
Thanks to its volunteers and strong cooperation with Tawasol, Giza
Systems believes that this investment will drive the development
of the next generation of community school students, and in turn
the empowerment of marginalized society members. By educating
students and giving them access to the latest technologies, Giza
Systems Foundation strives to make the dream a reality.

In line with Giza Systems’ corporate social responsibility and its focus
on inspiring change and driving innovation, Giza Systems sponsors
trips for the team representing Egypt in the World Robot Olympiad
(WRO) 2012. The WRO was held in Malaysia from the 9th November
until the 12th November 2012.
The Egyptian team ranked at 10th place in the competition out of 44
other teams in the “Senior High School - Open Category - Robots
Connecting People.” Upon their return, the team sent an appreciation
letter to Giza Systems sharing with them their impressions about the
WRO.
“First of all, we’d like to thank everyone who helped and supported us,
especially Giza Systems for sponsoring us financially. We thank you for
your trust and support. Our participation in the World Robot Olympiad
held in Malaysia was a very enriching experience for us. We may not
have won the first place in the actual competition but we believe that
we won the first place in learning from others and seeing other teams’
projects. At the same time we believe that we also taught other teams
something so it was a mutual learning experience,” commented the
Egyptian team.
The Egyptian team won both the local and Arab regional competition
held in Qatar this October qualifying them to the World Robot
Olympiad. The team consists of Tarek Abdel Wareth and Seif ElDin
Sameh from the Nile University, and Mohamed Hassan Shaker from
Assiut University.
Participating in the WRO for a second year, Prof. Mahmoud Allam keen
on perpetuating the development and exposure of the next generation
to robotics and innovation discussed some of the funding challenges
with Eng. Shehab ElNawawi, Chairman and CEO at Giza Systems.
“Upon discussing the challenges faced by the Egyptian team, we were
more than eager to get involved. Driving innovation and empowering
the youth is the essence of Giza Systems’ CSR activities, and we were
just thrilled to be able to help,” stated Shehab ElNawawi.
The WRO is a worldwide robotics competition that sets different
themes every year on how robots can be integrated in daily life. This
year, the WRO theme is “Robots Connecting People,” which explores
how robots can interact and socialize with people, as well as carry
out complex tasks. To integrate robots in our daily lives implies
them attaining a kind of understanding of human nature and them
processing how humans function as individuals in a society.
To depict a basic level of understanding, examples of projects that
met the criteria for this year’s theme included robots that mimic facial
expressions; robots that recognize colors and alphabets and how
they are used; robots that recognize private and public surroundings
and act accordingly; robots that play human games or play against
humans; robots that function alongside humans
when they are at their jobs; robots that are
able to make decisions based on past
experience; robots that replicate
festivals.
Guided by the theme
of the WRO, the

Building on its numerous successes in the water treatment sector, Giza
Systems Electromechanical (GSEC) expands its works with its new
electromechanical contracting project at ‘Abulmatameer’ wastewater
treatment plant serving the Beheira governorate.
Nasr General Contracting Company (Hassan M. Allam) contracted Giza
Systems Electromechanical to supply and set up electromechanical
works inside the ‘Abulmatameer’ wastewater treatment plant to
improve sanitary and wastewater services. The project aims at
increasing the capacity of the current running wastewater treatment
plant from 9,000m3/D to 18,000 m3/D to better fulfill the needs of the
residents of the area.
“Working for the first time with a giant such as Nasr General
Contracting Company (NGCC) on a project of this magnitude is
extremely engaging. Its major and unique works in the construction
field in Egypt are unmatched, which makes our collaboration an
outstanding opportunity in terms of expertise and know-how,” stated
Ahmed Reda, Sales Manager at Giza Systems Electromechanical.
Nasr General Contracting Company (Hassan M. Allam) awarded Giza
Systems Electromechanical the contract for its competitive offer
in terms of costing and full technical compliance. Priding itself on
international standards at competitive rates is the guiding tenet of
GSEC.
“Our expertise in water solutions and our understanding of the details
involved in integrating all the plant sub-systems enables us to offer
complete solutions for water utilities, building water and wastewater
treatment plants, as well as water desalination plants including
pretreatment, purification and recycling for domestic, commercial
and industrial sectors,” stated Ihab Amer, General Manager of Giza
Systems Electromechanical.
He added, “It is extremely refreshing and satisfying to take on such a
project, as it will solve real and essential problems that people face.
With the delivery of the project, absorption of the required wastewater
needs in the governorate will be met, thus, impacting the quality of life
of the residents.”
Proper implementation of all the required aspects of the project will
guarantee the continuity of the plant operations, optimize operational
efficiency, minimize technical problems, and cut costs. In addition
to providing sustainable solutions for treatment and disposal of
wastewater in the governorate, global environmental policies and
concerns will be adopted in the plant.
The project is part of the nationwide initiative to improve service
standards in the Egyptian water and wastewater sectors. The initiative
aims at overcoming current sanitary issues, as well as obsolete
and inadequate infrastructure, especially in marginalized areas. The
massive governmental plan to provide the entire country with proper
and up-to-date sanitation services fuels the need for sustainable water
and wastewater solutions.

Middle Delta Electricity Production Company awarded Giza Systems
a major project in the Egyptian Market to handle upgrading the Burner
Management System and Burner Auxiliaries at Talkha 2X210 MW.
Talkha power plant, located in the city of Mansoura in the Dakahliya
governorate, employs two steam turbine units. This renders the
burner management system essential and critical for the safe start-
up, operation, and shut down of the system. In addition to the priority
of securing a safe environment for th staff and plant operations,
the upgraded system will enhance operational efficiencies, reduce
maintenance, and improve up-time.
The project scope consists of the design, installation, testing and
commissioning of a completely automated and integrated system
of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), flame scanners, igniters,
and valves. The implementation of the agreed on applications will
automate the boiler burning system instead of using the existing
old, conventional control panel. The main challenge facing the Giza
Systems team will be the tight shutdown period, estimated at five
weeks, during which they will need to dismantle, install, and test the
system before summer time.
“Though the project presents a number of challenges in terms of
compatibility, documentation, and delivery schedule, we are committed
to overcome, together with our valued partners at Honeywell, any
issues that may arise to deliver the project on time,” asserted Amr
Sherif, Transmission & Distribution Line of Business GM. “The entire
team’s efforts coupled with the unique expertise of our presales
engineer, Mahmoud Salama, in the burner and combustion systems
field will enable us to fulfill the project requirements, as well as pave
the way for Giza Systems to implement this kind of technology on
larger scales,” added Amr Sherif.
In addition to managing the combustion process of burning fuel
employing the latest technologies and highest quality instruments,
the project aims at decreasing fuel consumption by generating the
same amount of power, which will aid at cutting costs. Furthermore,
the upgraded burner management system will reduce emissions of
harmful gases to the surrounding environment.

ويكمن التحدى األكرب الذى يواجه جيزة سيستمز لتنفيذ هذا املرشوع ىف فرتة اإلغالق املحدودة القدمية وتركيب إلنجاز العمل، والتى تقدر بخمسة أسابيع عىل أقىص تقدير، إلزالة األجهزة
وتجربة األنظمة الجديدة قبل حلول فصل الصيف.

Sherif Omran is the General Manager of the Smart Buildings Line of Business at Giza Systems. Sherif
joined Giza Systems in 2007 as General Manager of the Enterprise Business Unit. He holds a B.Sc.
in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, class of 1988, and has been
in the IT market for almost 24 years of extensive exposure and engagement in various levels of IT
domains related to software applications, business solutions, infrastructure and systems integration.
Prior to Giza Systems, Sherif started his career at Advanced Computer Technology (ACT), after
which he continued earning valuable and diversified experience in Business Development, Project
Management as well as Operations Management by working at national and international organizations
as Jeraisy Office Systems, Kenonic Controls Ltd. (Canada), SAS Institute Inc. (USA), EBLA and STME
(Kuwait).
Mohamed Abourayya is the General Manager of the Field Solutions Line of Business at Giza Systems. Mohamed joined Giza Systems in 2005 as Presales Manager at the Industrial Applications Business Unit. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, class of 1996. Mohamed also holds a diploma in Advanced Mathematics, and a Master of Science in Engineering Mathematics from Cairo University. Mohamed is a certified Hirschmann Industrial Rail Specialist (HiRS), Hirschmann Industrial Product Professional (HiPP), and Hirschmann Industrial Backbone Specialist (HiBS).
Prior to Giza Systems, Mohamed gained diversified experience, starting off as an Assistant Teacher at the faculty of Engineering Cairo University and Fayoum University. He was also Egypt Branch GM at IBN Mess & Regeltechnik, and Software Product Manager at IBM. Mohamed is a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.
Yasser El Abassery is the General Manager of the Process Control Line of Business at Giza Systems. Yasser joined Giza Systems in 1996 as Systems Engineer in the Process Automation Department. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering from Cairo University, class of 1996. He also holds an MBA in General Management from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Yasser also received trainings in Human Resources Management from the AUC, Project Management from George Washington University, as well as strategic marketing and financial management courses, among others. Yasser is a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate, and AAST Graduates School of Business Alumni.
He also is very active in his volunteering efforts with a number of organizations. He volunteers his time by working with orphans, giving courses to Engineering students and fresh graduates, as well as mentoring and coaching students in engineering graduation projects.
رشيف عمران هو مدير عام إدارة املباين الذكية ىف جيزة سيستمز. إنضم رشيف للرشكة ىف عام ٢٠٠٧ مبنصب مدير عام إدارة مرشوعات ونظم املؤسسات. وهو حاصل عىل بكالوريوس هندسة اإلتصاالت من جامعة القاهرة، دفعة ١٩88، وعمل ىف مجال تكنولوجيا املعلومات ملا يقرب من ٢٤ عاما قام خاللها بتنفيذ العديد من األعامل املتعلقة مبجاالت مختلفة من نظم املعلومات ذات الصلة بحلول األعامل،

يحمل شهادات HiRS و HiPP و HiBS من رشكة Hirschmann األملانية.
قبل انضاممه لجيزة سيستمز، بدأ محمد مشواره الوظيفى كمدرس مساعد بكلية الهندسة بجامعتى القاهرة والفيوم، ومدير عام بفرع
» IBN Mess & Regeltechnik« ىف مرص، ومدير برامج ىف»IBM«. وهو عضو ىف نقابة املهندسني املرصيني.
التحق بالرشكة ىف ١٩٩٦ كمهندس أنظمة ىف التحكم اآليل برشكة جيزة سيستمز. وقد يتوىل يارس األباصريى رئاسة إدارة نظم إدارة العمليات اآللية . ويارس األباصريى يحمل درجة البكالوريوس ىف هندسة اإلتصاالت من هندسة القاهرة دفعة ١٩٩٦. كام يحمل شهادة املاجستري ىف إدارة األعامل تخصص اإلدارة العامة من جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحرى. وتلقى عدد من التدريبات منها إدارة املوارد البرشية من الجامعة األمريكية بالقاهرة، وإدارة املرشوعات من جامعة جورج واشنطن، والتسويق

SherifOmranGM of Smart Buildings
Eva Mitry is the General Manager of the Enterprise Solutions Line of Business at Giza Systems. Eva joined Giza Systems in 2001 as Senior Software Engineer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University, class of 1997, and a Master of Science in Communications Management from Strathclyde University, UK. Eva is also currently working on her Master in International Business Administration (MIBA) from ESLSCA Business School, Egypt/France. She holds the Revenue Assurance Accreditation from TM Forum, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, USA.
Prior to Giza Systems, Eva earned experience working as Senior Software Engineer at Asset Technologies, and then as Programmer/Analyst at AMS. She is also a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.
التحقت إيفا بجيزة سيستمز يف عام ٢٠٠١ ككبري مهندىس تتوىل إيفا مرتى رئاسة إدارة حلول تقنية املعلومات ونظم املؤسسات. وقد الربمجيات وإيفا تحمل درجة البكالوريوس يف هندسة الكمبيوتر)الحاسب اآلىل( من جامعة القاهرة دفعة ١٩٩٧. وحصلت عىل ماجستري العلوم يف إدارة اإلتصاالت من جامعة سرتاثكاليد باململكة املتحدة. وتقوم حاليا بالدراسة للحصول عىل ماجستري العلوم يف إدارة األعامل

Ahmed Gohar is the General Manager of the Information Infrastructure Line of Business Head at Giza
Systems. Ahmed joined Giza Systems in 1994 as an Implementation Engineer. Throughout his time at
Giza Systems, he worked in a number of positions until he held the position of Technical & Support
Manager at the Telecommunications Business Unit.
With his recent appointment to head the Information Infrastructure Line of Business, his meticulous and
results-oriented strategy will surely impact both his team and the business. Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s
Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cairo University, class of 1992.
أحمد جوهر هو مدير عام إدارة البنية األساسية للمعلومات ىف جيزة سيستمز. إنضم أحمد للرشكة ىف عام ١٩٩٤ ىف منصب مهندس تنفيذ، وخالل سنوات عمله مع جيزة سيستمز، إعتىل عدة مناصب حتى حظى مبنصب مدير الدعم والتقنيات بإدارة اإلتصاالت. ومع حصوله بالتأثري إيجابياً عىل فريق عمله بالفعل البنية األساسية للمعلومات، ومع خطط اإلسرتاتيجية، فسيقوم مؤخرا عىل منصب رئيس إدارة

Amr Sherif is the General Manager of the Transmission and Distribution Line of Business at Giza
Systems. Amr joined Giza Systems in 2009 as Presales Team Leader at the Industrial Applications
Business Unit.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering from Ain Shams
University. Amr also holds certificates in Professional Sales Management and Project Management.
Prior to Giza Systems, Amr worked with reputable market players including Shaker Consultancy
Group and Alstom Local Partner and Subsidiary of El Sewedy Group.
عمرو رشيف هو مدير عام إدارة نقل وتوزيع الكهرباء ىف جيزة سيستمز. إنضم عمرو للرشكة ىف عام ٢٠٠٩ مبنصب مدير فريق مهنديس البيع التقني ىف إدارة التطبيقات الصناعية. وهو حاصل عىل بكالوريوس هندسة الطاقة وامليكانيكا من جامعة عني شمس، كام يحمل
شهادات ىف إدارة املبيعات و إدارة املرشوعات.
قبل إنضاممه لجيزة سيستمز، بدأ عمرو حياته املهنية مع رشكات رائدة ىف السوق مثل مجموعة شاكر لإلستشارات، و »Alstom«جزء من مجموعة السويدى.

Waleed Darwish is the General Manager of the Telecom OSS Line of Business at Giza Systems.
Waleed joined Giza Systems in 2008 and held the postion of Senior Project Manager at the Telecom
Business Unit. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Automatic Control from
Ain Shams University, class of 1995. He also holds an MBA from ESLSCA, Egypt/France. Waleed is a
certified Project Management Professional and Microsoft Professional.
Prior to Giza Systems, Waleed established valuable experience working with names like Sakhr
Software and GET Group, Cairo. He is also a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate, the
Saudi Engineering Syndicate, and the Project Management Institute.
Mohamed Abd El Aziz is the General Manager of the SCADA Line of Business Head at Giza Systems.
Mohamed joined Giza Systems in 2004 as Senior Systems Engineer, and worked his way through to
becoming Presales Manager in the Utilities Business Unit.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power and Machines from Cairo University, class of
2000. Mohamed also holds Siemens WINCC SCADA, Schneider NUM CNC, Schneider Automation
certifications and Yokogawa FASTTOOLS SCADA. Prior to Giza Systems, Mohamed gained experience
working as System Engineer at AEC Siemens SI, and then as Senior System Engineer at SYSTECH
Schneider SI.
وليد درويش هو مدير عام إدارة عمليات دعم نظم االتصاالت ىف جيزة سيستمز. إنضم وليد للرشكة ىف عام ٢٠٠8 ككبري مديري املرشوعات بإدارة اإلتصاالت. وهو حاصل عىل بكالوريوس هندسة الكمبيوتر )الحاسب اآلىل( والتحكم اآلىل من جامعة عني شمس، دفعة ١٩٩٥. وليد .Microsoft Professional مرص/ فرنسا(، وشهادة موثقة ىف إدارة املرشوعات، و( ESLSCA يحمل أيضا شهادة ماجستري ىف اإلدارة من
قبل إنضاممه لجيزة سيستمز، حصل وليد عىل خربة قيمة من خالل عمله ىف رشكات رائدة مثل »صخر لألنظمة«و مجموعة »جيت«بالقاهرة. هو أيضا عضو بنقابة املهندسني املرصية، ورابطة املهندسني السعودية، ومعهد مدراء املرشوعات.
محمد عبد العزيز هو مدير عام إدارة أنظمة التحكم االرشايف و تحصيل البيانات- سكادا برشكة جيزة سيستمز. وقد انضم إىل الرشكة ىف ٢٠٠٤ ككبري مهنديس األنظمة وتدرج حتى أصبح مدير البيع التقني يف قطاع األعامل الخاص بإدارة الكهرباء واملياه.
ويحمل محمد عبد العزيز شهادة البكالوريوس ىف هندسة القوى واآلالت الكهربية من هندسة القاهرة دفعة ٢٠٠٠. وهو معتمد من
