From Farm to Market through Harlingen
This mural features historic images of agricultural processing in the Rio Grande Valley, including crops in the field, loading and unloading of produce into trucks and wagons, and icing of produce in railroad cars in Downtown Harlingen. It also features produce
labels of 17 companies that once operated in Harlingen.It was painted by artist Brett Oberthaler of Weslaco.
The event will be in the public parking lot in front of the mural, which is on the west wall of the building at 201 W. Van Buren in Downtown Harlingen.
