Prayer on the Epidemic Our Father and Lord of heaven and earth, that you sent your plagues to punish the ancient Egyptians and, using them, saved your chosen people and brought them out unscathed into the wilderness, now contemplate the damage that this epidemic causes among your children: give us back our health by overcoming this evil, as you overcome Leprosy and death itself by the word of your Son, and teach us to draw closer to you in our hardships. In the name of Jesus Christ your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

Oración sobre la Epidemia Padre Nuestro y Señor de los cielos y la tierra, que enviaste tus plagas para castigar a los antiguos egipcios y, valiéndote de ellas, salvaste a tu pueblo elegido y lo sacaste ileso al desierto, contempla ahora el daño que esta epidemia causa entre tus hijos: devuélvenos la salud venciendo este mal, como venciste la lepra y la muerte misma por la palabra de tu Hijo y enséñanos a acercarnos más a ti en nuestras penalidades. En el nombre de Jesucristo tu Hijo, que vive y reina contigo en la unidad del Espíritu Santo, Dios por los siglos de los siglos.
