This year marks the fifth anniversary for the Mineral Wells Chamber of Com-merce’s award winning Shop Local & Win! program. The program awards residents and visitors alike who shop in Mineral Wells this upcoming holiday season. Beginning on November 1st, shoppers at the participating 52 businesses will be able to have their card stamped for a chance to win one of three shopping sprees.
Shoppers can pick up a card at any of the participating busi-nesses or at the Chamber. After
having a completed card stamped for $300.00 worth of purchases, they can drop it off for a chance to win one of three grand-prizes awarded on De-cember 23rd. This year there will be seven drop off locations for completed cards. The cards must be turned in by noon on December 23rd, for the drawing at 3:00 pm the same day.
In addition to the grand prizes of $1,500, $750, and $500 shopping sprees, there will also be a weekly drawing for $25.00 gift certificates to participating businesses.
A weekly award will be given to recognize the merchant that is going the extra mile in pro-motion of the Shop Local pro-gram and their business.
Shop Local and Win! is pre-sented by the Chamber and Top Shelf Liquor, along with spon-sor Progressive Waste Solu-tions.
