made possible by the Yorkton Exhibition Association who covered the cost of the transportation. The students visited various stations where they experienced hands on learning and heard many interesting facts about farm life and agriculture. The favoUrite part of the day for the students was petting the animals, especially the baby pigs. It was a very enjoyable day packed with learning and fun!

Although academics are the priority, our school life

continues to be filled with a variety of noon hour and

after school clubs. Writing Club, Rising Stars, Arts and

Crafts Club, Battle of the Books, Yoga Club and

Cooking Club, to name just a few, are ongoing

throughout the months. We feel it is important to offer

extra-curricular activities to our student population and

we pride ourselves on being able to offer ‘something for

everyone’.

MILLIONAIRES IN THE SCHOOL: The “Millionaires in the School” program began on October 22 . Each Thursday (unless

games or practice commitments dictate otherwise), every classroom will have a Millionaire player to help out from 9:00-

10:35 a.m. The players listen to the students read, help with schoolwork or act as an extra set of hands in the classroom.

The players are excellent role models for our students and they look forward to interacting with them each Thursday.
