Earlier in his career, he worked for Allentown-based Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., in an Air Products division for energy environmental systems that included clean coal and alternave energy products. Keynote Speaker Rob Wonderling President and CEO, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce

As President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Rob Wonderling leads a business advocacy organization of member companies that promotes growth and economic development in the 11-county Greater Philadelphia region.

Rob joined the Chamber in 2009 with an agenda to advance the region’s businesses, particularly by strengthening opportunities for entrepreneurs. His goal reflects his lifelong interest in innovation and economic expansion. He is committed to inclusion and excellence in management of all diverse people irrespective of differences.

He also serves as Chairman of the CEO Council for Growth, the federal advocacy arm of the chamber, comprised of business, higher education, and civic leaders from the tri-state region focused on promoting economic growth and improving the region’s transportation infrastructure, workforce, and culture of entrepreneurship.

Rob brings an impressive record of private-sector executive experience as well as distinguished public service to the Chamber.

Previously, Rob worked for Bentley Systems, Inc., a privately held software firm based in Exton which provides soft-ware solutions to engineers and architects on projects ranging from bridges to clean water. Earlier in his career, he worked for Allentown-based Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., in an Air Products division for energy environmental systems that included clean coal and alternative energy products.

From 2002 to 2009, Rob served in the Pennsylvania State Senate, where he first served as Chairman of the Communications and Technology Committee and then as Chairman of the Transportation Committee. He also served in the executive branch of state government in the Ridge-Schweiker administration as Deputy Secretary of Transportation, where he was responsible for improving the operation and efficiency of PennDOT’s 5,000-employee highway maintenance workforce.

In addition, Rob worked closely with the Chamber from 1984 – 91 on issues involving the region’s economic and envi-ronmental prosperity as President of the PENJERDEL Council.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Allegheny College in 1984 and a Master’s degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991. He attended the program for Senior Executives in State Government at Harvard University in 1997.

Rob serves on numerous boards and commissions. He served on the Philadelphia School Reform Commission Search Committee for a new Superintendent of Schools and as the Chair of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Commission on Postsecondary Education. In recognition of his community involvement, Rob was awarded the 2011 Service to Humanity Award at the March of Dimes Transportation, Building and Construction luncheon, and received the 2010 Century Club Good Scout Award for his civic and business leadership by the Boy Scouts of America. He was also given the 2011 Penn Foundation for Behavioral Health Citizen of the Year Award and named “State Public Official of the Year” by Pennsylvania Bio in 2009. In 2014, Rob was honored by the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia during their annual Celebration of Hope event for his commitment to helping those in need.

Rob lives in Lower Salford Township with his wife Kristin and their sons Sam, Mark, and Ben.

Meredith Ainbinder Senior Litigation Counsel, OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc.

Meredith Ainbinder manages litigation for the OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc.’s operations in North and South America. She handles disputes in areas including employment, contract, product liability, patent, copyright and deceptive trade practices. Prior to joining OSI, Meredith was a partner in the litigation department of Boston IP boutique Sunstein Kann Murphy & Timbers LLP. Active in the legal community, Meredith is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts and co-chair of that organization’s in-house counsel committee. She also co-chairs the in-house counsel forum of the Boston Bar Association. Meredith is a graduate of Brown University and Boston College Law School.

Sharon Scenna Argentina is the Director of Strategic Pricing for Blank Rome LLP and works closely with attorneys and clients to develop pricing structures that address mutual needs. As Director of Strategic Pricing, Sharon prepares alternative fee arrangements and oversees strategies to improve the process around managing those arrange-ments. She also advises on rate and compensation models, hourly rates, evaluating new business opportunities and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Sharon has 20 years of experience in the legal industry including prac-tice management, marketing, and business development efforts. She holds an MBA from LaSalle University.

Mark Blondman concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment litigation and counseling. Mr. Blondman is recognized for his extensive trial defense on behalf of employers covering a broad range of issues from discrimination to breach of contract claims. He provides preventive counseling and represents clients in matters regarding compliance with wage and hour laws, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, executive employ-ment agreements, non-compete agreements, breach of contract actions, labor and employment law compliance procedures and auditing policies, and preventative labor and employment relations methods.

In addition to his responsibilities servicing client needs, Mr. Blondman served as Blank Rome’s Chief Human Resources Officer for almost four years commencing in the fall of 2006. In that position, he dealt with human resources and employee relations issues on a daily basis, an experience that has heightened his understanding of a client’s need for practical solutions to issues that arise.

Steven Caponi maintains a national litigation practice with a concentration on corporate and intellectual property matters. Mr. Caponi is the Chair of Blank Rome’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy group. He also serves as Administrative partner of Blank Rome’s Wilmington office. His practice covers all facets of business litigation including: breach of fiduciary duty and corporate governance claims; cybersecurity and data privacy; merger and acquisition litigation; and patent infringement and intellectual property.

Chris is Senior Counsel in AmerisourceBergen’s litigation department and currently supports of all the company’s liti-gation matters and government investigations. Debbie A. Carlos Assistant General Counsel, Litigation, Sunoco, Inc.

Debbie Carlos is head of Sunoco’s litigation team and its management of all Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics litigation matters. As part of these duties, she manages overall case strategy and litigation budgets and reserves. Debbie pro-vides counsel to Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics business clients regarding litigation exposure or gain to the affiliated companies and strategic direction of litigation matters. Scott Cooper’s practices involve litigation and counseling businesses and government entities. He leads the Firm’s Labor and Employment group and is a founder of the Trade Secret and Non-Compete Litigation group. Michael Eckhardt Vice President of Legal and Risk Management, General Counsel and Secretary, Wawa, Inc.

Michael Eckhardt has responsibility for the Company’s Internal Audit, Legal, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Safety teams. Michael joined Wawa in 2005 and became General Counsel in 2011. He previously held the position of Associate General Counsel at Wawa. Before joining Wawa, Michael worked for Dechert LLP and Pepper Hamilton LLP in the Corporate and Securities groups. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University and his law degree from Temple University.

Michael is a member of the Board of Directors of Philabundance, the Philadelphia region’s largest food bank and hunger relief organization, the Board of Trustees of the Russell Byers Charter School and the Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Delaware Valley chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Anthony E. (Tony) Gay Associate General Counsel, PECO

Anthony Gay serves as Associate General Counsel, overseeing PECO’s Regulatory Legal Group. He also serves as co-lead of Exelon’s Legal Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Based in Philadelphia, PECO is Pennsylvania’s largest electric and natural gas utility. The company employs about 2,400 people, owns $9 billion in assets, and generates approximately $3.7 billion in annual revenues. A subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, the nation’s largest competitive energy provider, PECO serves 1.6 million electric and 506,000 gas customers in southeastern Pennsylvania. Exelon is headquartered in Chicago and trades on the NYSE under the ticker EXC.

Prior to joining Exelon, Tony was Assistant General Counsel for Verizon Communications Inc. in Philadelphia. Before working at Verizon, he was an Associate in the Litigation Section of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, and was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson, U.S. District Judge, in the Eastern District of Virginia. Daphne Goldman Senior Counsel, PNC Bank, N.A.

Daphne Goldman serves as senior counsel to PNC Bank, National Association, as a member of the Legal Department’s Fiduciary and Investment Legal Practice Group, supporting PNC’s Asset Management Group. She earned her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College and her J.D. and LL.M. (Taxation) from the Temple University School of Law, where she taught as an adjunct professor. Ms. Goldman concentrates her practice in the field of trusts and estates and fiduciary litigation. She brings to the practice the experience of working with two Pennsylvania trial court judges, the late Honorable Alfred L. Taxis, Jr. and the Honorable Anita B. Brody. She writes and lectures on various top-ics relating to fiduciary litigation, orphans’ court practice, trust and estate administration and estate planning. Mark C. Greisiger President, NetDiligence

Mark Greisiger leads NetDiligence which provides cyber risk assessment and data breach crisis

services for cyber liability insurance carriers, to assist their insureds and advise if reasonable security and privacy safeguards are in place to mitigate data breach loss and liability. Since 2001, NetDiligence services have been utilized by the majority of insurers in US and UK that offer cyber risk insurance products, providing loss control services for their insured business clients.

Walter C. Grollitsch General Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property, Intervale Capital

Walter C. Grollitsch has over 12 years of legal experience in advising international clients on legal matters, intel-lectual property strategies, patent law and patent portfolio management. For the last two years, Walter has worked as in-house counsel at Intervale Capital which owns over 10 portfolio companies in the oil and gas industry. He has advised the management at the portfolio companies on various legal matters and on strategic ways to create, defend and assert their intellectual property rights. Walter has been involved in several intellectual property disputes in the federal courts and in the United States Patent Office. He has negotiated numerous settlement agreements and cross-licensing agreements. Walter has an engineering degree from The Penn State University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.

Matthew Gutt Assistant General Counsel, Exelon Corporation

Matt Gutt is Assistant General Counsel for Exelon Business Services Company, where he practices Labor and Employment law and serves as the Pro Bono lead for his Company’s Philadelphia office. Prior to joining Exelon in 2002, Matt was an Associate at the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. Matt also served a one-year Philadelphia Bar Foundation Public Interest Fellowship, serving the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia, where he worked on matters involving special education, community living arrangements for persons with mental dis-abilities, fair housing, and environmental justice. He has performed pro bono work for many different organizations, including the Support Center for Child Advocates, the Homeless Advocacy Project, and the ACLU.

Barry Klein chairs Blank Rome’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. He advises employ-ers, including sole-proprietorships, partnerships, multinational companies, major hospital centers and universities with respect to their employee benefits and executive compensation arrangements, including advising employers with respect to the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions; drafting qualified and non-qualified retirement plans (including 401(k) plans and ESOPs) and stock option plans; advising employers with respect to administrative procedures and investment policy statements; and representing employers in connection with IRS audits and Department of Labor proceedings.

Mr. Klein has significant experience advising financial services clients with respect to their obligations under ERISA.
