We welcome Anneliese Eleanor Castrilla in the Sacrament
of Baptism. May the Light of Christ, given in Baptism,
shine on this little one forever.
We pray for the repose of the soul of Gail Czekaj and Jean McCoy.
May they and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God,
rest in peace. Amen
MEAL FOR THE HOMELESS SHELTER…Today, Sunday, November
5th, we are providing dinner for the guests of the homeless shelter
in Lorain. We are asking you to provide: Meatloaf, Scalloped Pota-
toes, Green Beans and Dessert. Please drop off your menu items
in the Holy Trinity Church parking lot today from 3:00—3:30 PM.
The items should be cooked but do not need to be hot and please
package for spill proof transportation. Please note the change in drop
off time…..there has been a change at the shelter.
NON-PERISHABLE COLLECTION………….Non-perishable food items
are collected on the first Sunday of every month for the Choice
Food Pantry over at St. Mary’s Parish in Lorain. Please place all
items in the back of the church under the choir loft stairs today. LADIES GUILD MEETING REMINDER…. Our next meeting is on
Monday, November 6th at 7 PM in the Modular. All Ladies of the
Parish are invited to attend! VETERAN’S DAY CEREMONY… hosted by Holy Trinity School on
Friday, November 10th at 12:45 PM in the Gym. Students will
have the chance to thank the veterans in attendance for all they
have done and continue to do for our country. Members of the
Parish and School Community who have served our country are
invited to come and be recognized. If you are able to join us please

PSR UPDATE…. All Family Based Catechesis Families… It is time
for your first progress check. All FBC parents must report to the
Parish Office for a progress check in. Please bring your book and
the progress sheet you received at the beginning of the year.
Please stop in the Parish Office on Tuesday or Thursday, Novem-
ber 7th or 9th between 4:00 and 6:30 PM. Thank You! BAPTISM PREP CLASS….. This class introduces parents to the
Rite of Baptism, emphasizes the parents’ role in the faith for-
mation of their children and reviews the qualifications of Godpar-
ents. The class is required if you are seeking the sacrament of
Baptism for your child. Our next class will be on Thursday, Novem-
ber 9th at 7 PM in the Parish Office. Please call the Parish Office
for details and to RSVP. WOMENS EVENING OF REFLECTION… Please join us for a Wom-
en’s Evening of Reflection beginning at 6:00 PM at St. Mary of the
Woods on Friday, November 10th. Please RSVP with your
name… address… phone number and email address along with
payment made out to Holy Trinity to the Parish Office. The cost is
$20.
ISABELLA GUILD of Fr. Ragan Council, Knights of Columbus is
selling “Our Town all Around” books. These coupon books are full
of local dining, entertainment and service coupons. The cost of
each book is $28 and they are available now. Please call Simi
934 5766, Betty 934 0346 or Jan 933 8550 to get your book
today. They make great holiday gifts. HOLY TRINITY BOOK CLUB… The next meeting is on Monday,
November 27th at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. The book, The
Wright Brothers by David McCullough is the dramatic story behind
the story about the courageous brothers who taught the world
how to fly. All are welcome to join us.
NEWS FROM THE KNIGHTS, Fr. Ragan Council 3269 On Saturday, November 16, the Knights of Columbus will host it’s
annual Turkey Raffle starting at 6:00 PM at Ragan Hall. There will
be a minimum of 75 winners with (60) 12-15 lb. turkeys and (15)
12-15 lb. hams being raffled and each prize comes with a 5 lb.
bag of potatoes. Admission is $5 per person and Raffle Tickets
are $0.50 each. Table snacks are provided and refreshments
and beer will will be available to purchase. Call Grand Knight Jim
Brady at 934 5778 with any questions. Pre-Advent Afternoon of Recollection with the Knights of Colum-
bus will take place on Sunday, November 18, 2017 at Noon be-
ginning with lunch. Then watch a movie focused on Fr. Solanus
Casey, a Capuchin Friar being beatified that same day, and then
head over to the Monastery of the Poor Clares on Rocky River
Drive in Cleveland for a Holy Hour and Mass at 4:30. There is no
cost to attend, but reservations are required. Please contact Jim

THANK YOU TO ALL who helped make our Holy Trinity Night at the
Races such a success! We are thrilled to share that we hosted
more than 350 attendees and brought in over $85,000 in funds!
This money will go directly to support the school. We could not
have done this without each and every one of you! Thank You!
