Just For Youth

Coming Events The 5th Sunday will see a change from our typical 5th Sunday services. There will be no

church-eat-church-sing as normal. Being the Sunday after Thanksgiving, our elders have

decided (as they did last year) to forgo the potluck and afternoon service. Instead we will

come back for normal Sunday evening services at 5:00. The elders have decided to can-

cel the singing at Life Care due to the possibility of still having several of our people out

of town for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The winter quarter begins Wednesday, December 2. As a reminder, here are our

Ed Lange has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and plans are

underway to begin treatment soon.

Macy Kate Fowler is improving with different medication.

Mary Heskett is recovering from foot surgery.

Clay Tyree is on medication and is improving.

Hunter Tyree is receiving chiropractic treatments and is improving.

Marie Chumley is awaiting results from a recent endoscopy.

The Fowler Family is currently working with the insurance company and

a contracting company to begin work on their home. They will be in the

midst of restoration during the holidays.

Cindy Woodard, friend of Lori Worley, is showing signs of improvement

and has been moved to the CCU step-down unit.

The Mission Committee will meet after the evening service to

to prepare the 2016 Mission Budget.

Dec. 2 Winter Quarter Begins

Dec. 3 Ornament Swap

The ornament swap, hosted by Clarissa Henson, will take

place Thursday evening at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall. A

delightful twist to “Crazy Christmas” has been planned.

Please bring your favorite holiday finger food. (Please limit

the gift price to $10 - $15).

Needed items for the NHC Christmas Village include: bath & body items,

cologne/perfume, lotions, baby dolls, basketballs or soccer balls, trucks/

cars, games, costume jewelry, Christmas candy, or Christmas decora-

tions. Coloring books and crayons are not needed.
