Lemon Tree welcomes a new resort at Bandhavgarh

Delighted to announce that Lemon Tree Hotels has expanded its leisure footprint by opening its first wildlife

resort in Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh.

The resort is a perfect destination to spot the elusive tiger. The star attraction of the resort is the Jungle Safari,since the resort is the heart of the forest, just a few yards away from Tala Gate, the most Tiger inhabited zoneof Bandhavgarh National Park. You can also sight a variety of other wild animals in their natural habitat herewhile experiencing a rich fauna and flora like none other. It is only 240 kms from Khajuraho, 35 kms fromUmaria and 180 kms from Jabalpur.

Another laurel came our way in India, when Lemon TreeHotels won the National Award 2016 for Best Employer ofPersons with Disability. This is the second time we havewon this award.

The award recognizes our focused effort in employmentand training of Employees With Disability. The awardsceremony was attended by the government, key corporateand prominent non-government organizations, all of whompromote inclusion and diversity at the workplace.

Additionally we also won the award for Best AppliedResearch/ Technological Innovation Aimed at Improvingthe life of Persons with Disabilities.

Sushant Kalra was stationed at the Front Desk when a guest expressed his interest to attend the Zangoora showat Kingdom of Dreams during the weekend. Because of weekend rush, the guest had no chance to book theexperience for his family. Sushant proactively booked the show using his credit card. The guest was overwhelmedwith his gesture and thanked Sushant for booking the show, especially for his 9 year old son. Keep it up Sushant,you keep the good samaritans in fashion.

Ganesh was preparing the room for another check-in. Upon cleaning the room he came across a gold chain.Without thinking twice, Ganesh rushed to the front desk and submitted the valuable lost item. When the guestlater returned to the hotel to inquire about his lost gold chain, it came to him as a complete surprise upon learningthat he had left the chain in his room and our Housekeeping person had submitted it to the hotel, so that itreaches it’s rightful owner. The guest whole-heartedly praised the high level of integrity and accountability thatLTH employees have towards their work. Kudos Ganesh, for your honesty and living the Lemon Tree values.

Lemon Tree Hotels celebrated the International Chef’s Dayby organising cooking competitions which saw massiveparticipation from staff. Our compliments to all the chefs.

LTHAR celebrated its 8th Anniversary on 1st Oct. The staff attended a motivational session and a vote of thanks to the all pre-opening members and other colleagues was organised. They also sponsored a meal at Mother Teresa Mission of Missionaries Old Age Home and donated towels, bed sheets and uniforms to an orphanage. This was followed by a the traditional cake cutting ceremony in the evening.
