Happy Thanksgiving!
Speaking of “Giving” - if giving is contagious then we have an
epidemic here at the Senior Center! The generous giving by all
of you who participate here is so vital to our success. It makes
all the difference in enabling us to have the wonderful programs,
activities and fundraisers that our center has to offer. Giving en-
compasses many areas of volunteering, monetary donations or
simply giving of ourselves to join in and share our time and our-
selves. The benefits go both ways as we personally benefit as
well. What a wonderful sense of connection giving brings about.
Not only does it make us closer to one another but it is truly
good for our mental and physical health.
So during this “thankful” season, I for one am very thankful for
the giving!

BEING GRATEFUL!
Every day we should take a minute to think of one thing we are grateful for. Thanks-
giving is certainly a time for this, but continuing everyday going forward is a good thing.
Doing this will make us more aware, and help us realize that maybe we are looking at
too much everyday. We need to slow down, stop and smell the roses. The tiniest thing
deserves our gratitude, like a beautiful snowflake, sunset, or important people in our lives.
Life gets so busy, we lose track of what and who is important.
Take time to say “THANK YOU!”
IF INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING PLEASE CALL THE SENIOR CENTER
AT 715- 235-0954
THANK YOU!
