Those who witnessed the Ritualistic Ceremony and Arch Degree at the Lake Havasu Ceremonialon October 16th saw another fine performance by the two teams. We are fortunate to have suchfine actors and speakers on these teams.

However, we are in need of understudies for each of the speaking parts in the two plays. Each time we perform these, we experience scheduling conflicts by one or more members, which results in the current members doubling up on parts.

So, we NEED you! If you have an interest in working with one of the Ritualistic teams, please contact Alan Dye or call his cell (480-223-2914), or call the Shrine office (602-231-0300).Understudy parts are available ranging from a few sentences to several paragraphs. We are looking for those members committed to excellence in the performance, will attend approximately 3 practices prior to each performance, and are willing and able to travel with the teams to Lake Havasu City or wherever the performances may be given in the future.

FFRROOMM TTHHEE PPOOTTEENNTTAATTEENobles and Ladies, what

do you get when you com-bine 30 Nobles and Ladieson a boat? It’s not sympathy, but it is a memory that willnever be forgotten. Youcan’t show any weakness orsomeone will exploit it,much as I do. We had 61people join us on a ship forour New England cruise. We

had some real stars among us and I think every-one had a good time. Everyone combined to giveRonda and me some memories we’ll cherish for-ever and we thank all of you.I know I’ve talked about this several times, but

we finally have all the bills, receipts and every-thing in on our WSA from April. Our balancesheet for the event shows a net gain of$4,910.23 that was transferred to the ElZaribah accounts. This gain’s the result ofa grant from the City of Tempe to assist inhosting the Parade. One final note ofthanks to Paul for his help in keeping ourfinances for this event on track and com-ing out so close to break even. He andNate do a great job looking after ElZaribah’s finances.

Another memory from our OctoberStated Meeting was the DeMolay Legion ofHonor Investiture. It was an honor to receivethis award. Hopefully, you were in attendance tosee the work they do and share the experiencewith us. The Grand Master was also in atten-dance receiving a fez honoring his position andshared greetings from the Grand Lodge of AZ.This was truly a night of working together withour Brothers in appendant bodies for the better-ment of the Masonic bodies and Shriners.October was extremely busy and throwing a

Pote’s trip in certainly added to the insanity. Wemust apologize for not being at all the events. Wehad to double up and have multiple events at thesame time. Attendance at all events was off be-cause we were sharing the same people. Hope-fully, the impact was held to a minimum. OurFall Ceremonial in Lake Havasu came off verynicely and Jack did his usual good job in gettingit coordinated. We also had the opportunity to

visit White Mountain, Mohave and all the ShrineClubs in the Bradshaw Mountain and Prescottarea. While we don’t see the Nobles in these areasas often as we do those in the Phoenix area, they’re working hard to do good things in theircommunities and are well known for the workthey do. They raise funds, help children and havean impact on those around them that is second tonone. The CIF Committee, Culinary Unit and others

combined to make for a good BBQ and party forHalloween. The pork BBQ was good and the Hal-loween festivities were fun. Please look for de-tails about the Hospital Children’s ChristmasParty and come help out. The Temple ChristmasParty will be held the same day and will behosted by your Temple. Again, watch for details.Friday, Dec. 31st is the Fiesta Bowl Parade andwe’ll hold the afterglow at the Temple with aWhole Hog BBQ. Everyone’s welcome, reservations are recommended so we knowhow much food to make. You’ll be out intime to attend any other events you mayhave. It will be our farewell for a won-derful year. The business of the Shrine continues

and the November Stated Meeting pro-vides an excellent opportunity to showyour respect for your Chief Rabban, as hehas the opportunity to conduct a StatedMeeting. Please join together to make him

feel welcome and fine-tune his skills. You’ll alsobe meeting those Nobles who’ve declared theirintent to run for an Elected position. Please givethem time to share with you, their ideas, qualifi-cations and desires to be an Officer in this fine or-ganization. Come out in December and helpchoose the person you’d like to represent yourShrine. As we began the year, I related it to a sunrise

and the opportunity to begin each day anew. Inow realize how true this is. Every day bringssomething new to the table and the opportunityto truly appreciate how much our membershipcan accomplish. “Together we can” has become“Together We are Making a Difference.” Let’skeep up the energy and finish the year strong.Yours in the faith, Phil HoughtonPotentate 2010

As we head south toward the Port of New York from St. John,New Brunswick, it gives me time to sit and reflect over the pastfew months. Not only has this been a fabulous Pote’s Cruise,it’s also been a great year. My hat’s off to Ill. Sir Phil. What afantastic job you’ve done guiding El Zaribah through 2010.

During these last few months we’ve had so many Nobles andLadies perform their assigned duties so well to make all of ourevents such wonderful successes. If I tried to name each andevery one of you, I couldn’t. I do, however, want to thank all ofyou for our successes. A special thanks goes to Pat McNicholsfor stepping up to take Chairmanship of the Shriners Golf Clas-sic; Mark Lueck for his 3 successful years as CornFest Chair-man and Jack Garrett for so many successful years as theCircus Chairman.

Saturday evening, Jan. 8, 2011 has been designated as “Of-ficer Installation Night.” It’s requested that all Officers of eachand every Unit and Club be in attendance to be sworn in thatevening. Open to all Nobles, Ladies, friends and family, theevening will not only include the Installation of Officers, but In-stallation photos, dinner and entertainment. Cost of theevening will be nominal.

Two weeks later, January 22nd, is Officer Orientation andLeadership Training Day. Again, all Officers will want to attend.A late morning start will cover some very important topics tohelp you in your role as a Unit or Club Officer. This should lastapproximately 2.5 hours, at which time we’ll break for lunch. The afternoon will then be open for anyone who wishes to at-tend, Nobles and Ladies alike, and is one of those “Must At-tends” for anyone wishing a role in leadership or who has thetask of choosing someone for a leadership position. We’re fly-ing in well-known Past Potentate Michael Clevenger from Al-addin Temple in Columbus, OH for this special afternoon. Ill. SirMichael lectures on this same subject at Oriental Guide and As-sistant Rabban Schools at Imperial Headquarters each year.More to follow on both events.Yours In The Faith, Tom Calvin, Chief Rabban

George Krob, Bradshaw Mtn. Pres. and Frank Benedict, Yavapai SC. Under the direction of Ill. Sir Doug Kurbat, these 2 Clubs hosted the Circus, attracting over 4,000 people from the Quad-City area

Congress, AZ Parade: Jim Pitts, Dennis Samuelson, Jasper Nichols,Bill Miles and others whose names are unknown

Greetings from the bucket closet. First, all of the buckets aredoing very well. Please come to the Stated Meetings to hear theexact amounts.

Next, we in the Divan hope you enjoyed the October meeting. We’ve tried to invite guest speakers to the Meetings to liven thevenue and make the evening more enjoyable for all. Unfortu-nately, the guests bunched up on one meeting making it a littlelonger than normal. But please let us know your feelings. Isthis a good thing? Do you have any ideas for speakers? Sug-gestions?

Looks like we had a nice size Class of Candidates at the FallLake Havasu Ceremonial with the late addition of the 4 fromMexico.

Hope to see you at some of the functions. The Bucket Man

Nobles, I want to use this article togive thanks for all the help we receivefrom our Members and the two LadiesOrganizations. A lot of you dedicateyour time and expertise to our Templeand without your devotion, our Shrinewouldn’t be as successful as it is.

I want to thank my staff; they’re hon-est, hard working, dedicated people. Ar-turo and Juan keep the Temple in perfect

condition. They watch costs and are always looking for waysto save expenses. Fernando keeps the kitchen in top shapewhile always preparing top-notch meals for a few or many. Fer-nando receives a Gold or Silver star every time the County in-spectors come in.

I had the opportunity to visit with one of the inspectors a fewweeks back and was told very few restaurants receive stars ona continuing basis like we do. Lou Ann has the bar under verytight control. She keeps liquor inventory in line, does the cost-ing on all the various functions and has never received a downgrade from any of the County inspectors within the bar area.

El Zaribah Shrine is making plans to send the monthly Arabian Tales viaemail to those members who request it.

This will speed the delivery of the monthly publication and help the

Temple manage it’s expenses. If you’re interested in this program, call the Office at 602-231-0300 to sign up. Thank You

All the men have taken over the care and maintenance of theoutside. They work on this on their days off at a cost saving theShrine. The outside has never looked better.

Jane’s great, she comes in early to get a head start on thedaily work before the phones start in. She’s always willing towork late when needed. In her spare time, she fixes our com-puter problems. Both Jane and Lynn work with all of you sell-ing tickets, booking reservations and answering questions.Lynn is a tremendous help with the Membership program. Bothwork sending out dues notices out and recording payments.

Jack’s in the office every day and is a tremendous help on thephone and working with Nobles who call in. He carries a bigload with the Circus and Hotel accommodations but still hastime to help the office. All our employees work together, alwayswilling to help each other out. Linda, while only being in oneday a week, keeps us all on the straight and narrow financially.

Nobles and Ladies, this is just a short history of how yourstaff functions. I’m certain I’ve left a lot out and I apologize toall of them for that, however the next time you’re in the ShrineCenter, please take the time to say thank you.Yours in the Faith, Paul Reynolds, Recorder

Congratulations to the October 2010 in-coming Nobles of El Zaribah Shrine. I hopeyou find this poem fitting and valuable in

your Shrine career.

THE BADGE OF A SHRINERBy the scimitar and crescent which you wear upon your coatYou proclaim that you’re a Shriner. It’s a sign for men to note; It’s a symbol that your fellows have abiding faith in you; They believe that you are worthy and they trust in all you do:But I wonder, fellow Noble, as I meet you here and there,If you’ve really caught the meaning of that little badge youwear.By the token that you’re wearing, you’re expected to be fine:We have taught the world it’s something to be chosen by theShrine; And the man who wears its emblem has his fellows guaranteeThat a gentleman of honor he is known and pledged to be;And if he should fail that standard by some thoughtless wordor whimAll Shriners, world wide over shall be put to shame by him.

By the scimitar and crescent which so proudly you displayYou are bound to live and travel in a bigger, better way.You must dignify the emblem, so that none whom you may meet,Be he friend or foe, may whisper that the Shrine is but a cheat,You must play the man at all times, you must keep your conductfair,And be worthy of the crescent and the scimitar you wear.

The year’s nearingthe end and theClowns are readying

themselves for the Holiday Seasons. Theyear’s brought in several new Clowns and

we’re excited with those additions. We’re also being told thereare a couple of other Brothers seriously considering joining theClowns. This is good; the additions mean the Clowns will beable to continue on as an active Unit. It will also mean new lead-ership coming in the Unit and as we all know, with new Unit Of-ficers will come change and change, I’ve been told, is good. BBClown believes in change and embraces changes willingly, most of the time. I’ll be stepping down as Unit President at theend of the year to enable a new Pres. to take the helm and guidethe Clowns in 2011 and further into the decade ahead.

Thanksgiving’s now upon us and we Clowns would like totake this time to give thanks to God for allowing us to be whowe are; the Divan for their leadership and support of El ZaribahShrine and the Nobility; to the Nobles for your support of ourUnit and what the Clowns do for the Shrine Kids; and finally toour wives and family members for putting up with the hours ittakes to be a Shrine Clown.

To all the Nobility and their Ladies, have a safe and enjoyableThanksgiving and remember one thing, giving to those whohave less in their time of need brings a joy only you can feeland doing it as a Mason-Shriner for the many children withinthe hospital program is a joy too big to express in words. The Band had a great re-turn to work in Sept. We hada good turn out for the Stated

Meeting and even better for the Circus withKudos from the Pote, Sir Phil, and many of the staff, for a jobwell done. We had a good sound for every show.

We’re working on the OV and other events to be announcedas info becomes available.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back for the upcomingseason. John

The El Zaribah Shrine Circus in progress

Getting ready for the El Zaribah Shrine Circus

Check theShrine calendar forthe date of our No-

vember meeting and come see our newly refurbishedroom on the second floor.

The holiday season’s approaching and with it the great par-ties that only Shriners know how to put on. Back in the mid-80s,the Director’s Staff Christmas Party was a formal affair with avery fancy dinner and dancing. Everyone wore a tuxedo andthe women dressed up in their finest. The party would have 200– 300 people. It was the THE Christmas party of the Shrine.

For 2010, the Director’s Staff Christmas party is Dec. 17th.We’re working on a very nice meal and lots of fun. Our friendsfrom the Culinary Unit will be joining us for this gala event. Thismonth kicksoff our Pa-

rade participation. The trailer/float is ready togo, the Musette players have their reeds sharp-ened up and the percussion section is readywith new parts. Look for us in the Anthem,

Tempe and Gilbert Parades – you can’t miss our distinctivesound.

One of the new members attended the Pinetop Parade andhe was carried on the mini-truck, the last Shrine entry in the Pa-rade (right behind the Motorcycles). That one Musette was pow-erful enough to be heard above the rumble of those Harleys. There were many in the crowds who cheered and really appre-ciated the music. There were even a few who wanted to seemore of the curly toed gold shoes, so he showed them off. Wewere hoping to be paired up with the camels, as they love todance to the sound of a Musette, but the trailer carrying thecamels had a problem on the way to Show Low.

like to welcome our new Nobles andLadies.

The year end’s nearing but there’s still a lot to do. We haveseveral Parades coming up, including the Fiesta Bowl. Also agreat event, the Night of the Child is coming Nov. 13th. It’s beena great year with more to come.

Lake Havasuwas a great timeas challenges

and obstacles didn’t faze the Ceremonial castand crew. They did a great job. We welcomethe New Nobles from Havasu 2010 and trusttheir journey will provide many happy and re-

warding years. Of course, the Parade was one of the finest ever. It’s awesome to be appreciated by a city and placed in the frontof the Parade. The OV was a lot of fun with the great LakeHavasu Shrine Club. Again, the Hospitality Room was a fan-tastic gathering place for fun and food.

The Temple Guard Ladies Night on Oct. 19th was a beautifulsight to see. All the Guardsmen are so thankful for the help andsupport from every Lady of the Temple. We thank all of the Tem-ple staff who made that such a special occasion.

The Temple Guard’s participation at the Hospital Clinics con-tinues to be the best of any Unit or Club. This doesn’t go un-noticed or unappreciated. Good work, Brothers.

1st Lt. Art Nehill has secured the date and place for nextyear’s Temple Guard Picnic in Scottsdale where we invite every-one and their kids. He’s started the talks with the Director’sStaff and Mounted Patrol for the Munds Park Getaway Week-end where all are welcome including family, friends, kids, petsand in-laws.

Remember our Officer Nominations this month and Electionsnext month. Many of us are wishing to do a complete review ofour by-laws. Give us your input and help with this effort. Helpget the New Nobles to the next Stated Meeting and make themfeel welcome. Thank you. [email protected]

another year. Wow, does time really fly whenyou’re having fun. We as a Unit did have ourfun, with more to come. The trip to Lake

Havasu was, as always, a fun day and weekend for all of us. Wehad a great turn out as a Unit, along with the motor home. Ican’t express my appreciation for the support you guys haveshown for the Unit, making the Parades and meetings, alongwith our new members and their sporty vehicles.

The Anthem Parade will have a great turn out and alwayshas a crowd that won’t quit, they really do appreciate all of us,and we always have fun doing that VA Parade.

Please remember the Winslow Parade Nov. 20th, that turn outmay not be a full house, but it’s still fun. The Florence turn outfor us will be great, thanks.

Here’s something to keep in mind and we hope you and yourLady will attend. We’ve been invited to join the Clowns and AlJondi for our Christmas Party OV this year. It will be the firstMonday, Dec. 6th at 7 pm - more info at the Nov. meeting. Itshould be a great time.

Let me remind everyone about pictures at the Fiesta Bowl Pa-rade and the big planned get together at the Shrine for lunchand a few refreshments after the Parade. Try to attend this gath-ering.

As you’re all aware, it’s voting time again for our Officers,we’ll do that real soon. Thanks again. John Hamilton

Lastmonth theShrine Cir-

The lions and tigers seemed a little un-ruly with loud roars, jumping in their cages until the Lion Tamercame in to quiet them. It was a great evening of entertainmentfor the children.

November’s the start of cooler months, then comes Decem-ber when we prepare for our Clothe-A-Child Party & Programstarting Dec. 10th at 6:30 am. More information with shoppersand volunteers will be addressed at the November meeting. November’s here.I don’t know wherethe time has gone.

We weren’t very active this summer due to every-one traveling to cooler climates, but I think every-

one’s back now. We didn’t have an outing in October, so manyof us having numerous doctor appointments and what haveyou.

Bill Huffer’s finished taking chemo and is recovering as wellas expected. Marv Guthrie’s hanging in there and we hope bothof them make a speeding recovery. Mel had surgery early inJune and bounced back in good shape.

We lost two very good members this year. Stu Lanier soldhis motor home and purchased a home near Munds Park. KenMerrill also sold his motor home. Ken’s been a member for 18years and served as President two terms. Both Stu and Kenwere active and we’ll miss them.

At our November meeting, we’ll discuss the future of the No-mads and I hope we get a good turn out. This is very important.

Happy trails to all you Shriners who have RVs and neverjoined the Nomads. Merrill D Putnam, PP

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN . . .ORIENTAL GUIDE MUST BE SELECTED WISELY

When the members of a Shrine Temple elect a Noble to the Office of Oriental Guide, they are virtuallystarting that Noble through the Divan Line on the assumption that he will prove qualified for and worthy of advancement to the high office of Illustrious Potentate.Hence it is quite evident that the nomination for Oriental Guide should be based on a thorough and accurate evaluation of character, ability, prestige, interest and experience.A Noble can be a good fellow, a hard worker, and a loyal Shriner . . . and yet lack the qualificationswhich make a good Potentate. Unless a Noble is fully qualified for the job, he is unfair to both himselfand his Temple in seeking the Office or in permitting his fellow Nobles to support and promote hiscandidacy. Each Shrine Temple needs and requires able, high-type leadership. The normal starting point of thatleadership is the Office of Oriental Guide. The following checklist may prove helpful in evaluating potential candidates for the Office of Oriental Guide. However, no thinking man would be so naive orpresumptuous as to believe that any one Noble could embody all of the talents and qualifications setforth in this checklist.Nevertheless, the list has practical value . . . for self-evaluation by the Noble whose ultimate aspirationis the Office of Illustrious Potentate . . . and for advance evaluations of potential candidates by the voting members.Leadership Understanding beforehand with wife & familyExecutive Ability Possess Social GracesBusiness Sense Financially SecureCommunity Standing & Influence Energy & VitalityWell Poised Free to devote ample timeGood Health DiplomacyStage Presence Good habits & Moral CharacterCompetent Organizer & Promoter Interest in the Shrine & Masonry in TotalAbility to give & get cooperation Capable of delegating

Capable of building good Public and Masonic RelationsMany Temples have placed definite limitations upon their progress and standing in the community asa result of hasty, ill-considered judgment in connection with nominations for the Office of OrientalGuide. Every Noble is a good Noble . . . but it does not necessarily follow that every Noble is fitted tomeet the rigorous demands imposed upon Divan Officers and the Potentates. So let’s be fair, honest and wise in the all-important matter of electing to Office only men who are eminently qualified for the job! We all know that with honor comes responsibility. And while there ishigh honor associated with a Divan Office, the ensuing responsibilities entail a lot of time-consuming,energy-consuming WORK!We are genuinely grateful that our Temple has been favored with sincere, honest, able and devoted lead-ership through its elected Officers. However, eternal vigilance must be wisely and thoughtfully exer-cised by the voting membership in order to perpetuate a high caliber of leadership.

WMSC OV - Potentate Phil, Pres. Dick with Ladies & Chaplain JimPinetop/Lakeside Parade Judges Choice Award - WM Shrine Club

What awonderfultime was

had by all at the White Mountain Shrine ClubOV of Ill. Sir Phil Houghton and Lady Ronda on

Saturday, Sept. 25th. The turn out far exceeded our expecta-tions and almost overflowed the restaurant lounge, where wehad a wonderful meal and session with the Potentate. We es-pecially appreciated the appearance of the Drum & Bugle Corpsduring lunch.

Participation in the Pinetop/Lakeside Parade that morningwas very well received by the community, as it’s been 4 yearssince our last appearance here. We were excited to learn thatthe WM Shrine Club float won the “Judge’s Choice” Award forthe Parade. The theme was “White Mountain Champions,” andmy Lady Mary came up with the theme for our float, “ShrineKids Are Our Champions,” which she painted on both sides ofthe float. Great job, Mary.....

The Hospitality Room at the Day’s Inn was jumping with ac-tivity on Friday and Saturday evenings and a big thanks to RonMiller and Don Hettervik, and Ladies Earlene and Shirley, for ajob well done. Everything that weekend went extremelysmoothly, thanks to the assistance of Chief of Staff Mark Brownand Lady Brenda. And a Great Big Thanks to all the WhiteMountain Shrine Club members for all their help.

The Club was pleased to make a sizable contribution to thePotentate’s Discretionary Fund and to Lady Ronda’s ChristmasFund. We know this was appreciated and will be used for thebetterment of Shrinedom. Dick Doane, Pres.

As I become more indoctrinated into the El Zaribah ShrineHospital Office, the more impressed I am with the operation.Your Hospital Office is a well-oiled machine. There are a lot ofbehind-the-scenes tasks that lead to a very effective operation. One area I’d like to share with you is the use of Tele-med. Tele-med received significant attention at this last Imperial Sessionand I’m proud to report that El Zaribah’s one of the leaders in itsuse. Tele-med has 2 major advantages: 1) it reduces the strainon our Hospital Patient Transportation Fund; and 2) it’s moreconvenient for the patient and family.

We conduct numerous Tele-meds each month. It takes onlya few minutes to set up the equipment and be ready for the doc-tor to call. Tele-med offers the perfect tool for our doctors to dopost operative and follow-up on appointments and keep a per-sonal touch with their patients. Tele-med is a remarkable tooland I hope its use will be expanded in the future.

Noble Dave Scrimager and I would like to recognize theClowns as our volunteers of the month - not only the El ZaribahShrine Clowns but also the LOS Sphinx Court #65 Lady Clowns.Getting to watch the Clowns at the Outreach Clinics is alwaysa thrill. A couple of years ago, we were asked to put togethera benefit for El Zaribah to help raise money for theShriners Hospitals for Children and help improve theawareness of Shriners. A group of us met to come upwith ideas and we wanted to do something different. We didn’t want to have a Shrine social function, wewanted to have a Benefit where we’d bring in as manypeople from outside the Shrine to show them what wedo and why we do what we do. Our passion is takingcare of the kids. We understand that so well. Wewanted a name people recognized and a name thatwould continue to grow. Our goal is helping the childand our benefit would be centered on that. Aftermuch discussion came the name “The Night of theChild.” We have all the Hospitals around and ourlocal Clinics that so many folks don’t know about. Ina lot of cases, they know the Shriners do Parades, butdo they really know what we do?Have you ever been to one of our Clinics and seen

the dedication of our volunteers with these kids? Ithink about Tom and Cora Sweetman, Art and NaomiMoss and many others who are there every monthworking with the kids. Not enough words describethe dedication and love these folks have in helpingthese kids. As part of “The Night of the Child,” wewanted to show that part on a video and at the sametime show the kids who come to our Clinics or Hospi-tals. We were fortunate to have the talent of Ed Stolze, who put together two video’s showing all this. Seeingit does more than words can describe. We didn’t wanta night of speeches, yet we wanted a couple of specialguests to talk for a few minutes about what we do, butthe night isn’t geared for many speeches.Remember the second part of our goal was to raise

money and we wanted it to be a fun night in raisingmoney. This is where the Casino, raffles, blitzes, liveand silent auction comes in. This allowed people tospend money on different activities and hopefully gohome with some nice item they won and have a goodtime. In addition, we wanted a nice dinner where people

could sit down for a while and enjoy the company and

at the same time see the videos of what we’re all aboutand also see the talent of some of our Shriner Children. This isn’t a function to just come and sit at the table allnight, that’s not what it’s set up for.As in any Benefit, it takes time, energy and a lot of

folks helping to make it successful. We have a very tal-ented Committee that works on this all year to makesure it all comes together. Where we always need helpis in selling our Sponsor tables. These tables are wherethe Company becomes a Sponsor of the Shrine. In ad-dition, they advertise on our website and in a bookletgiven to everyone the night of the Benefit. Sponsor ta-bles are our SPECIAL GUESTS. Our goal is to showthem what we do as Shriners and at the same time askfor their money in the way of doing fun things duringthe evening. As members of Night of the Child Committee, we

can’t do it alone. We need the help of the Shrine inhelping us get donations for the prizes and helping usfind companies that will purchase Sponsor tables. Some Units/Clubs have donated money for us to pur-chase items and that goes a long way.At this time we’re a few weeks away from our Ben-

efit and we still have some Sponsor tables left to sell.We need your help in identifying companies or indi-viduals who aren’t Shriners that will purchase a Spon-sor table. Now if a Shriner wants to purchase aSponsor table and bring as his guests a group of non-Shriners, that would also be fantastic. We also need help in donations. We’re looking for

items we can have in a live or silent auction. We’relooking for trips, gift cards and resort weekends. Ifyou were winning something, would this be some-thing that you’d be excited you won? Our web site is www.nightofthechild.org

We need your help with Sponsor table sales and dona-tions. Please help us where you can. Any donationitem can be delivered to the office or the committeemeets every Thursday between now and the event.Remember we have one hell of a story to tell. The

Night of the Child can tell that story with your help.Thank you for your help. Mick Degn
