Die beiden Frontgitter sind wesentlicher Bestandteil der Konstruktion.Einerseits sind rückseitig an den Gittern speziell konstruierte Phase Plugs fürdie Woofer montiert. Andererseits bilden die Frontgitter ein großes Horn fürdie beiden Hochtontreiber. Die Treiber sind auf einen Koppler montiert undliefern Kohärenz, eine präzise Schallverteilung, einen exakt kalkulierbarenAusgangspegel sowie definiertes Abstrahlverhalten. Trotz der kompaktenMaße besitzt das ATLAS AT2 Modul eine außergewöhnlich hohe Leistungs-fähigkeit und Kontrollierbarkeit bei optimaler Schallverteilung. Dank desATLAS AC2 Rahmens kann das AT2 Modul sowohl gestackt als auch geflogeneingesetzt werden. Die Größe und das Gewicht wurden für ein einfachesHandling und einen problemlosen Transport optimiert.

The front grills are an essential part of the acousticaldesign. They include a special phase plug for thewoofers behind. But the grills are used also as largesized horn for the two high drivers, which are mountedonto a coupler to provide precise dispersion,predictable output, coherence and coverage. Despiteof it´s compact size, the ATLAS AT2 module deliversexceptional high output capability and calculablepattern control. The ATLAS AT2 can be stacked orflown by using the ATLAS AC2 frame. The size andweight are optimized for ease of handling and transport.

Das ATLAS AT2 bedient sich modernster Neodymiumtreiber für eine optimalePerformance bei geringem Gewicht. Zwei 10" Lautsprecher (2,5" Schwing-spule) liefern effektive und druckvolle Bässe. Das doppelt ventilierte Gehäuseder 10" Lautsprecher ermöglicht den Einsatz im unteren Frequenzbereich bis60 Hz. Durch die integrierten Phase Plugs wird optimaler Wirkungsgrad bis1550 Hz erreicht. Die akustische Trennung zwischen 10" Lautsprecher und denbeiden 1,4" Hochtontreiber liegt bei 1200 Hz. Die Anordnung der 10" Laut-sprecher und der beiden Frontgitter stellen das Horn für die 1,4" Hochton-treiber dar. Das Ergebnis ist ein präzises Abstrahlverhalten sowie einen nutz-baren Frequenzbereich für die Hochtontreiber von 1000 Hz bis 20 kHz. Durchden Einsatz von modernen DSP Technologien lassen die Komponenten einenmaximalen Schalldruck von mehr als 136 dB zu.

Each ATLAS AT2 module utilizes neodymium driversthat provide optimum performance and reduce weight.Two 10” (2,5" voice coil) woofers deliver effective,punchy performance in the low frequency range. The10" woofers are contructed in a double vented cabinetwhich allows a usable frequency range down to 60 Hz.The integrated phase plug ensures the optimumperformance up to 1550 Hz. The acoustical crossoverpoint is fixed at 1200 Hz. The arrangement of the 10”

woofers provides a symmetrical horn for the two 1,4”

drivers together with the front grill. This results in aprecise dispersion and a usable frequency range from1000 Hz up to 20 kHz. The components allow amaximum peak output of more than 136 dB SPL withinthe use of latest DSP technology.

Zwei Neutrik Speakon NL 4 stehen an der Gehäuserückseite für denAnschluss bereit. Diese sind 4-polig parallel beschaltet (1+/1- high und 2+/2-mid/low). Das ATLAS AT2 Modul besitzt ein Abstrahlverhalten von 110° x10° (H x V). Der Aufbau einer Zeile von bis zu 16 Modulen ist unter Einsatz des

AC2 Flugrahmens und des im AT2 integrierten Flugsystems einfach durch-führbar. Das Ergebnis ist eine überdurchschnittliche Leistungsfähigkeit sowieein mustergültiges Abstrahlverhalten. Die Feinwinkelung des Flugsystemskann in 1.5°-Schritten eingestellt werden (maximal 7.5°). Der AC2 Rahmenkommt auch als Basis für gestackte Anwendungen zum Einsatz.

AT2

Das ATLAS AT2 Modul ist aus 15mm starken Birkenmultiplex hergestellt,welches mit einem wasserbeständigen Überzug aus Polyurea versehen ist. Diebeiden integrierten Transportgriffe erlauben einfaches Handling. Das front-seitig integrierte Flugsystem ist aus schwarz eloxiertem Aluminium her-gestellt. Das rückseitig angewandte Flugsystem besteht aus rostfreiemEdelstahl. Die Verbindung der einzelnen AT2 Module zueinander wird mittels6mm starker Quick Lock Pins realisiert. Aufgrund der kompakten Maße unddes geringen Gewichts (nur 26,5 kg) kann das ATLAS AT2 Modul selbst ingrößeren Applikationen von nur einer Person bedient, transportiert,angehoben und aufgebaut werden.

Die akustische Leistungsfähigkeit des ATLAS AT2 Systems setzt einen neuenStandard bei kompakten Maßen und geringem Gewicht.

Two Neutrik Speakon NL 4 connectors are wired in parallel (1+/1- is high and2+/2- is mid/low). Each unit provides a 110° x 10° (H x V) dispersion angle. Thisallows an easy construction of lines up to 16 units with perfect performanceand coverage results by using the integrated flyware and the AC2 frame. Theflyware allows a maximum angle of 7.5° in 1.5° steps. The AC 2 frame can bealso used for ground stacked applications.

The cabinet is constructed from 15mm birch plywood with water resistantpolyurea coating. The 2 integrated grip handles allow easy handling. Theflyware at the frontside is made from aluminium. The flyware at the rearsideis made from stainless steel. The connection from cabinet to cabinet isrealized by using 6mm quick lock pins. Because of the compact size and lowweight (26,5 kg only) the ATLAS AT2 module can be operated, transported,lifted, and carried by one person only, even when creating large lines.

ATLAS AT2 is setting a new standard of size, weight and of course acousticalperformance.
