This year we did some-

thing very different with

our Red Ribbon Week. We

finally got to go back in

time and express our in-

ner hippies. Many kids

who joined in with this

day had a lot of fun. Eve-

ryone got to see how other

students and teachers

thought what a hippie

looked like. It was a day

full of headbands and

very colorful shirts. This

day added fun to the Red

Ribbon Week and it will

never be forgotten.

Nothing is more fun for children this time of year

than trick-or-treating, unless it is a school parade

and they are the stars. Friday, October 29th was St.

Xavier’s annual Halloween Costume Parade, where

the Pre-K through 6th grade students dressed up

in various costumes. But not only did the students

dress up; their teachers dressed up too! We hope

all students and staff had fun during this yearly

event.

The students partici-

pating in band classes

and orchestra had a

concert on October

14th that was said to

be amazingly good.

“The students have im-

proved a lot since last

year.” , said Mr. Anto-

nio.

There were a lot of

comments made on

how the students had

improved since their

last performance.

Many parents, teach-

ers, and students are

commenting that, “ I

cannot wait to see

their next perform-

ance” or “ I wonder

what the music selec-

tion will be next time”.

Good job! To all stu-

dents that participated

with such rhythmic en-

thusiasm that won

over the crowd. Keep

up the hard work!

Teacher

This year, Yearbook Staff has created a

mini game. A game that anyone can play as long as you are a

student of St. Xavier School.

Anyone has an opportunity to “Guess Who’’ the mystery per-

son is, it could be a teacher or a student. In addition, if any-

one can guess the right answer, he/she will be able to claim a

prize. Place your guesses in the box, which is located in the com-

puter lab. One winner will be selected at the end of every

month.

The end of the volley-

ball season is finally

here. We ended it with

a lot of great memo-

ries and skill. The

Girls and Lady Rams

really learned coop-

eration and qualities

that made them better

players and even bet-

ter peo-

ple. But

while

the vol-

leyball

season

comes to

an end

we do

however

welcome the basketball

season. Junior High

starts November first and

High school starts No-

vember 16th.

ing. Lets all

thank Mrs. Pow-

ers for a wonder-

ful season and do-

ing an excellent

job coaching the

team.

The Junior High did out-

standing closing up there

season. They all learned

how to work with each

other and work as a team.

One of the most impor-

tant qualities in playing
