Explorer’s Class - A two-session series begins today on how the Church ought to address the evils of today’s economic recession. The series will be led by Dr. Darvin Miller. Today’s topic: “Jesus, God’s Kingdom, the Church and Inside the Collapse.” 9:00 in the Adult Room.

Contemporary Issues - This 10:30 a.m. adult class is studying the origins of the Bible, how it has evolved, and how it’s interpreted today. This journey of discovery will help us explore and understand how this book has become the most influential writings in human history. Join us as we read, discuss and learn about the Bible’s ancient beginnings and our present day interpretations.

50 Plus - Our Christmas meeting will be on the 2 nd Friday, Dec. 9th, at 12:00 noon in the Shalimar Country Club Restaurant, 2032 E. Golf Ave., Tempe. Dr. Darvin Miller, retired Professor of Psychology and

Singles at Dayspring -Singles, Etc. Lunches - Each Sunday after the second service, those who want to go out for lunch as a group meet at the restaurant listed below. “Connections” is a Dayspring mission that advocates for the intrinsic worth of all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation. It offers support to and education about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their families. It also hosts the Tempe PFLAG group meeting each first Friday of the month. Our clergy can provide the names of “Connections” members for you to contact.

Brown Bag Lunch - Come join us for Brown Bag Lunch every Tuesday at 12:00 noon. Bring your own lunch and socialize with people from the church. We always have a good time! Come and be part of this fun group!
