Applications are  invited on prescribed  format  for  the  following assignment  in a purely  time bound 

research project undertaken in the School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences  of this Institute.

: Junior Research Fellow ‐ 1 post  

2.  Name  of  the  temporary research Project 

: “Seasonal  and  inter‐annual  variability  of  Relative  Heat Content in the Indian Ocean”  

3.  Name  of  the  Sponsoring Agency  

: Indian Space research Organisation(ISRO)  

4.  Consolidated emoluments  : Rs. 25,000/‐ p.m. + HRA  

5.  Qualification & Experiences  : M.Sc.  (with  GATE/NET)/B.Tech.  (with  GATE/NET)/ M.Tech. with  1st  Class  in:  Computer  Sciences/  Physics/  Marine Sciences/  Atmospheric  Sciences  with  Mathematics  at  UG level  and  a  consistently  good  academic  record.  CSIR‐JRF/ INSPIRE/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.  

6.  Duration of the Appointment  : Initially  for  a  year  and  extendable  based  on  satisfactory performance  

7.  Duration of the Project  : 3 years
