Abstract In the half century the end of time there is an example that shows a

consciousness in urban design, city development sensitively consider the

cultural, physical, social, ecological or population experience physically evolved

over time through changes economic, social networks, based on the state pattern

routine life of the people. Many examples of time - conscious urban design (t-

cud) without bombarding with fully move (full change) or even without changes

and as a cultural icon and the uniqueness of the city. Siena as an example of the

old city with the uniqueness that made the icon alone. Alexander as designers try

to application of the principle of t-cud taking into account the existing culture

and transforming the pattern of a gradual change. Some Framework constructed

of urban design experts such as Lord Rogers with a key application of

sustainable urban design. There are several ways t-cud in the city changes,

among them Lucien Kroll with the application of multi-actorial conceptual

Kagali region, identifying the characteristics of history, culture; environmental

preservation and architectural value, or Change city without consideration.

Many ideas emerged by Leon and other design experts, and many cities with

expert design in a changing city like Chapel Allerton UK, The Pphoenix UK,

Mexicali, and Kimihurura Kagali.

Introduction

Time - conscious urban design (t-cud) a notice of consciousness in the development or

construction of the city with the design of an effective and permanent cultural

considerations, physical, social, ecological, experience rooted in a place by trying to

give change from time to time.

In principle pattern t-cud do not have to destroy the culture or origin regardless of

uniqueness in design so that the city becomes icon in essence change. Many examples

of cities with change or without damaging the existing design and just a touch that

made the city unique cultural history

Form of order in t-cud is that the essence of the changes and considers implementing a

gradual improvement and delivery perspective changes, harmonious and consistent

Content

Changes in the existing design while considering the existing essence and uniqueness

of the city, by maintaining, improving gradually and to the delivery of change

perspective in harmony, in tune with the new look.

Alexander (2002) describes in Applied design awareness while considering the city's

cultural, physical, social and gradual changes in the complex in order to change

aspects of the situation. So the approach is able to support efforts to change the city in

stages in the design urban architecture in urban design solutions of the new

consciousness.

Besides t-cud also integrate several functions in the preservation of the architectural

heritage, the preservation of old buildings and the addition of regular multi-actoral

changes with the goal of how t-cud be going and growing. Then performed with

several approaches such as

The first approach is to make creative ideas in urban development with a conceptual

perspective in the development of the city gradually without considerations of

cultural, social, ecological and ancient heritage

Cont-

The second approach is to identify concrete areas or areas of history and culture to

preserve the architectural heritage and cultivated in the municipal authority in the change

from time to time with the consideration of the situation and issues of the city

The third approach is a way to change or incorporate a new design with the existing

situation, with little consideration. Where the designer has a personal commitment to the

social benefits of the product with the goal of good design.

Some policies made in the development of urban spatial awareness when designs are made

to ensure that future developments are carried out in the UK in the application of t-cud.

Urban regeneration should be carried out by the emergence of new city developments in

spatial revolution and progress of the city. Various ideas were launched Poundbury in the

concept of t-cud with the gradual evolution of design principles and developed from time

to time. The development of a model city with walk-approach so that the knowledge will

be a unique icon in urban development and the concept of t-cud.

Conclusion

Time - Conscious Urban Design, an approach in the sense of time will

notice the development of the city with a touch of urban architecture and

consider the various aspects related to

cultural, economic, social, ecological, historical, and a wide range of

considerations in the development of the city. Various examples of the

development of a model city with the approach and method development

is done in order to panic the user in an integrated sense of self to each

other will be urban development can occur.
