NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL RESPONDENTS The Request for Proposals (RFP) is modified as set forth in this Addendum. Questions – Pre-Proposal Conference

Comment: was unable to download solicitation, you gave him verbal instructions how to download & let him know to email you still having difficulty getting information. Clarification: use https://www.pcc.edu/purchasingapp to download the RFP, if you are unable to do so, then contact Tina Parkvold for an emailed copy. Question: Will construction services be required for the performance of this project: Answer: No. Question: Are any bonds required for this solicitation? Answer: No. Refer to Addenda 5. Comment: Dates will be verified with the successful proposer as to when buildings can be shut down for this project. Clarification: The study will primarily take place during the College’s down time between Summer and Fall Terms. Additional times may be required on evenings, weekends and holidays. Question: Do any buildings have priority in conjunction with any ongoing or anticipated projects? Answer: No. Question: What format does the study need to be completed in? CAD or Bluebeam? Answer: Autodesk Revit 2017 or newer. (The successful proposer will need to consult with PCC’s CAD/BIM System Administrator if newer.) Question: Price Proposal is listed in the RFP. Should it be removed? Answer: Yes. See Addenda 5 Question: Will MWESB categories be weighted in scoring? Answer: No. Question: Buildings are mislabeled on the drawings, do we need to provide updated drawings with the correct building names? Answer: Yes. Note regarding the drawings: ABE should be updated to Cascade Hall (CH) and SCE should be updated to Student Union (SU) Question: Do the drawings submitted for the project need to be for power distribution or branch circuits? Answer: From meter to panel, but not every outlet, to include rating and stickers.

Question: Do the panels need to be IR Scanned? Answer: No. That is not part of this project. Comment: During this project when the panels are open, if any dangerous or necessary corrections need to be completed, the project manager needs to be notified, the engineer needs to be notified and the electrician may be granted approval to fix it. Larger changes will be included the in the subsequent correction project. Question: Will the engineering for the subsequent project be bid out? Answer: No. The engineer for this project will continue as the engineer for the next contract with a change order to complete the updated drawings when corrections are completed. Question: What about labels? Do we need to provide them? Answer: Yes, you make them, and PCC will apply them. Question: One of the buildings has only one panel, is that correct? Answer: Yes, the Paragon building has one panel or subpanel. It is a small building. Question: Who monitors power for this site? Answer: PPL Question: Are these separately metered buildings? Answer: Yes Question: Do all buildings have optional and life safety transfer switches and associated panels? Answer: Paragon does not, but all other buildings do. Comment: Cascade Hall, Student Commons and Underground Parking Structure were built with the last Bond. Question: For the buildings that have Arc Flash labels, do the need to be verified? Answer: Yes. Question: Does PCC have an updated list of panel schedules in Excel? Answer: No. Question: Do the labels in CH need to be updated? They state ABE. Answer: Yes, however, it will be done in-house.
