Connecting the Product

Power Network Connection

Make sure that the mains voltage of the place where the product source will be connected corresponds to the operating voltage of the unit. Use the power supply that came with the product to connect it to the back of the unit and to a wall outlet with a voltage between 100 ~ 240V AC

After connecting your Vitrola Goldship to the Outlet, turn the volume selector (On / Off) clockwise until you hear a “Click”.

Open the Acrylic Cover and remove the arm and needle guards.

Connecting to an external amplifier

Vitrola Goldship Mississippi has 2 built-in speakers where you can play sound directly. However, if you prefer to use your VCR in an amplified external Sound System, simply plug the audio plugs into the Auxiliary output of the unit and into the auxiliary input of an amplified sound system, via an RCA cable (not supplied)

-Plug red at the R channel output.

-Plug white at the exit of the L. channel.

Listening to a Vinyl Record

-Place the disc of your choice on the turntables. If necessary, be sure to attach the adapter to the disc shaft.

-Choose the desired playback speed using the speed selection switch between 33.3, 45 and 78rpm.

-Turn on the rotary switch, note that this also controls the volume.

- Release the lock on the arm.

-Turn Auto Stop

-Raise the arm with the lifting lever

-Put the arm gently, at the edge of the disc, or in the desired range. With the lever, carefully lower the arm to start playing your disc.

-The end of playback if the auto stop is on, the arm will stop automatically. Lift the arm and return it to the rest position.

- If the auto stop is in the off position, the arm will stop it only after returning it to the rest position.

-Put the needle guard

Some vinyl records have an automatic stop area, and may be outside the Vitrola stop area, and vinyl disc playback may stop before the end of the last track. For these cases, it is necessary to place the Auto Stop in the “Off” position in this way the arm will move to the end of the Range. Return the arm to the rest position.

On the selector switch, turn on the Bluetooth® function, then you will hear a “Ding Dong” beep, and the blue indicator light will blink to indicate that the unit is ready for pairing.

On your device, activate the Bluetooth® feature and devices, browse and select “Leadership 1495”. After pairing, the unit will issue a “Ding Dong” beep and the blue LED light will keep access, indicating that the pairing process has been successful.

Note:

-The wireless distance is up to 10m.

-Make sure no other Bluetooth devices are nearby that could affect the connection.

Bluetooth® function

At www.leadership.com/Drivers, download the Recording Software on your PC, and install as per the version of your operating system. And follow the step by step below.

Note: Audacity software is an open source audio recording and editing software. It can also be downloaded at https://sourceforge.net/projects/Audacity/.

Select the file for your operating system and double click on the software executable.

-Select ‘I accept’ option then click ‘Next’:

- Audacity should start automatically if it does not follow the next sequence:

-The Audacity icon will now be seen on the desktop, double-click on it to start Audacity, if an icon does not appear, go to the ‘C’ drive ‘My Computer’, click ‘Program Files’ and then ‘Audacity’. Right-click on the icon of a “Headphone” and select “create desktop shortcut”

-Connect the USB cable on the back of the drive and the other end into a spare USB port on your computer.

-Run the Audacity software by double-clicking the Audacity icon.

- Before writing, click Edit at the top of the main page; Select Preferences at the bottom of the menu that opens Preferences.

-In the recording part of the window, open the device menu using the down arrow on the right side. Select the USB PNP Audio Device option from the menu. Also check the box next to ‘Software playback via: (Play new track while recoding)’.

-The bottom box allows the number of recording channels to be set, 1 is mono and 2 is stereo, select the stereo option.

-Click ‘Ok’ once the options have been selected:

-Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation:

Recording file on computer using Audacity

- Start playing the disc, as explained above, and press Record at the top of the Audacity window to start recording.

-Once recorded use the transport controls at the top of the screen to go to: start, play, record, pause, stop, as below

-Use the file, edit, display, project, generate, effect and analysis menus to save, export and manipulate your music.

-If the recording level requires adjustments, click on ‘start’, ‘Settings’ and select Control Panel. In Control Panel select ‘Sounds and Audio Devices’, click the ‘Volume’ tab and select ‘Advanced’.

-In the master volume window select options in the upper-left corner, and click Properties in the drop-down menu.

-In the Properties window select “Usb Device Audio PNP” from the drop-down menu at the top. Click “Ok” to confirm the selection and a window will now appear with a control for the recording level.

Export your music files (.wav / mp3)

-After you have recorded and edited your music, save your file to your PC

-In select file, export as WAV or MP3 file

-Select the folder where the file should be saved and rename as desired.

-Note: To activate the MP3 export feature, you will need to copy a file called lame_enc. Dll, which is in the downloaded software folder, and paste it into the Audacity installation folder, which is by default on Disc “C \ PROGRAMS \ AUDACITY” after which the program will be able to export to MP3.

Note:

It is recommended that you clean your recorder with a dry, preferably dry, anti-static cloth or, if necessary, slightly dampened with water, just after wiping with a dry cloth.

To ensure the best sound quality when listening to your discs, we recommend that the needle that comes with the product should be changed periodically (approximately every 250 hours)

Dust the needle when necessary with a soft brush dipped in alcohol (brushing from behind the front of the cartridge)

When carrying your disc player, do not forget to:

-Put the needle cartridge cap.

-Place the rest clip on the arm of the pick-up.

Warning: Do not use this product too close to Water, near fire and in humid places. Under risk of electric shock and product breakdown and loss of warranty. All repairs must be done by an authorized authorized professional, at the risk of loss of warranty.

To avoid danger of suffocation, keep the plastic bag that accompanies the product packaging away from infants and children. Do not use this bag in cots, beds, to store toys. This bag is not a toy, and should be disposed of properly after unpacking the product.

Ligando o Produto

Conexão na Rede Energia

Certifique-se de que a tensão de rede do local onde a fonte do produto será ligada, corresponde à tensão de funcionamento da unidade. Utilize a fonte que acompanha o produto para liga-la na parte traseira da unidade e em uma tomada com tensão entre 100 ~ 240V CA

Após conectar a Sua Vitrola Goldship na Tomada, vire o seletor de volume (Liga/Desliga) no sentido horário, até ouvir um “Click”.

Abra a Tampa de acrílico e retire as proteções do Braço e da agulha.

Conexão a um amplificador externo

A Vitrola Goldship Mississippi possui 2 alto-falantes embutidos, onde se é possível reproduzir o som diretamente. Porém caso o usuário prefira utilizar Sua vitrola em um Sistema de Som externo amplificado, basta conectar os plugues de áudio Na saída Auxiliar da unidade e na Entrada auxiliar de um sistema de som amplificado, através de um cabo RCA (não fornecido)

-Plugue vermelho na saída do canal R.

-Plugue branco na saída do canal de L.

Escutando um disco de Vinil

-Coloque o disco de sua escolha no gira-discos. Se necessário, não se esqueça de colocar o adaptador no eixo do disco.

-Escolha a velocidade de reprodução desejada usando o interruptor de seleção de velocidade entre 33,3, 45 e 78rpm.

-Ligue o comutador rotativo, note que isto também controla o volume.

-Solte a trava do braço.

-Ligue o Auto Stop

-Levante o braço com a alavanca elevadora

-Coloque o braço com cuidado, na borda do disco, ou na faixa desejada. Com a alavanca abaixe cuidadosamente o braço para dar inicio a reprodução de seu disco.

-O fim da reprodução caso o auto stop esteja ligado, o braço irá parar automaticamente. Levante o braço e retorne-o à posição de repouso.

-Caso o auto stop esteja na posição off, o braço irá pará-lo somente após retorna-o na posição de repouso.

-Coloque a proteção da agulha

-Ao Fim da utilização, desligue o aparelho

Observação

Alguns discos de vinil possuem área de parada automática, e possa ser que esteja fora da área de parada da Vitrola, podendo ocorrer que a reprodução do disco vinil pare antes do fim da última faixa. Para estes casos, se faz necessário colocar o Auto Stop na posição “Off” deste modo o braço se movimentará até o final da Faixa. Coloque o braço novamente na posição de repouso.

Atenção:

A tentativa em iniciar e ou parar o prato giratório manualmente, acarretará em quebra do produto, gerando perda de garantia do produto.

Na chave seletora, coloque na função Bluetooth®, logo em seguida, ouvirá um aviso sonoro “Ding Dong”, e o led indicador na cor azul, irá piscar indicando que a unidade está pronta para pareamento.

Em seu dispositivo, ative a função Bluetooth® e em dispositivos, procure e selecione por “Leadership 1495 “. Após pareamento, a unidade irá emitir um aviso sonoro “Ding Dong” e a luz LED azul manterá acessa, indicando que o processo de pareamento, foi efetuado com sucesso.

Nota:

-A distância sem fio é de até 10m.

-Certifique-se de que nenhum outro Bluetooth dispositivo esteja próximo que possa afetar a conexão.

-O Audacity deve iniciar automaticamente, se não seguir a próxima sequência:

-O ícone da Audacity será agora visto na área de trabalho, clique duas vezes sobre ele para iniciar o Audacity, se um ícone não aparecer, vá para o ‘C’ unidade ‘Meu computador’, clique em ‘Arquivos de programa’ e depois ‘Audacity’. Botão direito do mouse sobre o ícone de um “Headphone” e selecione ‘criar atalho na área de trabalho” ‘Desktop

-Conecte o cabo USB na parte traseira da unidade e a outra extremidade em uma porta USB sobressalente no seu computador.

-Execute o software Audacity clicando duas vezes no ícone do Audacity.

-Antes de gravar, clique em Editar na parte superior da página principal; Seleccione preferências na parte inferior do menu que abrir Preferências.

-Na parte de gravação da janela, abra o menu do dispositivo usando a seta para baixo do lado direito. Seleccione a opção USB PNP Audio Device no menu. Também marque a caixa ao lado ‘reprodução de software por meio de: (Reproduzir nova faixa enquanto recodifica)’.

-A caixa inferior permite que o número de canais de gravação a seja definido, 1 é mono e 2 é estéreo, selecione a opção estéreo.

-Clique ‘Ok’ uma vez que as opções foram selecionadas:

Gravando arquivo no computador usando o Audacity

-Inicie a reprodução do disco, conforme já explicado, e aperte em Record na parte superior da janela da Audacity para iniciar a gravação.

-Uma vez gravado use os controles de transporte na parte superior da tela para ir para: iniciar, reproduzir, gravar, pausar, parar, conforme abaixo

-Use o arquivo, editar, exibir, projeto, gerar, efeito e Análise menus para salvar, exportar e manipular a sua música.

-Se o nível de gravação exigir ajustes, clique em ‘iniciar’, ‘Configurações’ e selecione Painel de controle. Em painel de controle selecione ‘Sons e dispositivos de áudio’, clique no ‘Volume’ Tab e selecione ‘Avançado’.

-Na janela de volume master selecione opções na parte superior do canto esquerdo, e clique em Propriedades no menu suspenso.

-Na janela Propriedades selecione “Usb Dispositivo de áudio PNP” a partir do drop-down menu no topo. Clique em “Ok” para confirmar a seleção e uma janela aparecerá agora com um controle para o nível de gravação.

Exportar seus arquivos de música (. WAV / MP3)

-Depois de ter gravado e editado a sua música, grave seu arquivo em seu PC

-Em arquivo selecione, exportar como arquivo WAV ou MP3

-Selecione a pasta onde o arquivo deverá ser salvo e renomeie conforme desejar.

-Nota: para ativar o recurso de exporta em MP3, será necessário copiar um arquivo chamado lame_enc. Dll, que se encontra na pasta do software baixado, e colá-lo na pasta de instalação do Audacity, que se encontra por padrão em Disco “C\PROGRAMAS\AUDACITY” após isto o programa conseguirá exportar para MP3.

Nota:

Recomendamos que você limpe sua vitrola, com um pano anti-estático preferencialmente seco, ou se necessário ligeiramente umedecido com água, logo após passe um pano seco.

Para garantir a melhor qualidade de som ao escutar seus discos, recomendamos que a agulha que acompanha o produto, deverá ser trocada periodicamente (aproximadamente a cada 250 horas)

Espanar a agulha sempre que necessário com escova macia mergulhado em álcool (escovação de trás para frente do cartucho)

Ao transportar o seu leitor de discos não se esqueça de:

-Coloque a tampa de proteção do cartucho da agulha.

-Colocar o clipe de descanso no braço da pick-up.
