Other grantsA number of other projects are also given grants. Only a few of them can

be mentioned here:

� “Maritime Trainee” – A trainee-program by the NSA aimed at recruitment for higher positions on shore.

� “Ocean Space technology” – Production of new educational material for young people that will stimulate their interest for maritime technology. This project takes place at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

� Upgrading courses for teachers, administered by Maritime Forum North and the University of Tromsø.

� “Chemical working conditions for seamen”, a research project by Norwegian Oil Industry Association.

� Courses for assessors and instructors, organized by the Norwegain Maritime Officers’ Association.
