Commanders intent

To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the ”Plan of action for Veterans, and lead the process of activation of Veterans as a considerable resource for the society.

Lead, coordinate, and create synergies, as well supporting existing initiatives.

Cost effective implementation within the Armed Forces, with volunteer organizations and relevant civilian institutions.

End state; All initiatives implemented according to plan. Activation and visibility achieved.

– Implement initiative, follow-up (DOD plan of action)

– Guidance of Armed Forces veteran chain– Authority to resolve and implement initiative
