Toomajanian & Bowers, PC 201 E. Main, Ste. B 248-348-6780

Toomajanian and Bowers “Show Us Your Smile” open house is a success Toomajanian and Bowers held their “Show Us Your Smile” open house on Friday, September 10th. The event was an opportunity for current and potential pa-tients of all ages to gather together at the dental prac-tice located at 201 E Main Street. Numerous attendees commented on the décor, high-tech equipment, and cleanliness of the office. “I never knew a dentist office could have such a home-like at-mosphere. I’m truly impressed with the comfortable furniture, smiling staff and attractively decorated rooms of this beautiful office,” noted one visitor. Pre-registered and walk-in attendants were welcomed with tasty food, excellent music, relaxing chair mas-sages and educational lessons on health and beauty. For the event, Doctors Laurie Toomajanian and Piia-mari Bowers were both active in providing guests with information sessions about dental care and their prac-tice. The doctors had their staff of friendly assistants and hygienists available for meeting with attendees, in addition to providing them with tours of the bright, wel-coming office. Starbucks gift cards were passed out to the first twenty attendants for their enthusiasm. A drawing was also held for all to enter in which twelve lucky people won either: teeth whitening, electric toothbrushes, Starbucks gift cards, or gift baskets. “Our practice has a foundation of integrity and high caliber care in a comforting and secure environment. Our reward is to realize the trust that has grown from a partnership of care between our team and our pa-tients,” Dr. Bowers explained. This dental practice is taking an appointment which some may see as stressful and turning it into a com-fortable, relaxed experience through education and relationship building. “Events like this are a unique way for both patients and us to congregate in a way other than a quick, routine trip to the office. It was very gratifying seeing our patients, along with other participants in a social environment,” stated Dr. Bow-ers. We would like to thank all who showed us their beauti-ful smiles and helped make the event a pleasurable way to spend a Friday afternoon in downtown North-ville. To find out more about the practice and event, visit the Toomajanian and Bowers website at www.smilenorthville.com or go to their page on Face-book “Smile Northville”.

Get healthy, fight stress…and sweat! Bikram Yoga Comes to Downtown Northville

Perhaps Bikram Choudhury, founder of the

internationally acclaimed Bikram Yoga, said it best: “Yoga is the only exercise in the world you can do at any age. It’s never too late, you’re never too old, too sick, too fat, too anything to start from scratch again.” Certified Birkam Yoga instructor Melissa Curnett agrees and invites you to grab your yoga mat and towel – because Bikram Yoga has arrived in North-ville! Bikram Yoga Northville is located at 122 Main-Center at Cady, in the heart of beautiful downtown Northville.

Bikram Yoga’s beginning 90-minute class is a complete series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (prananyamas) which are suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments, and joints for the next posture, which ultimately bal-ances and strengthens every system in the body in order to prevent illness, injury and limit the effects of aging. This series of postures also increases one’s self-control, which greatly reduces high levels of stress. “Come sweat with us,” invites Curnett. “This yoga never gets boring!”

In addition, Bikram Yoga Northville will offer massage by certified therapists as well as a boutique which boasts an array of goods that will nurture your inner yogi/yogini.

If you haven’t tried Bikram Yoga, now is the perfect time. For more information, including class

schedules, pricing, and more, please visit www.bikramyogadetroit.com or call (734) 737-YOGA (9642).
