2 nd –5 th Grades Northville Art House Classes at Amerman are designed to teach kids drawing skills and art techniques through a variety of mediums such as pastels, pencil, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, clay & fiber arts. Join us once a month! Kids will get to explore nature, travel around the world, create animals, and get inspired by master artists. Be a pART of it! YOUNG ARTIST Afterschool Program Registration is now open for October, November & December after school art classes. In the event of illness, contact the Northville Art House for a credit. SNACK: Please provide your child with a healthy, nut-free snack for the beginning of class. Students will have 10 min. to eat a snack before class starts. DROPP/OFF: Students should report to the room designated right after school. Classroom teachers should be notified that your child is taking this class. PICK UP: Students must be picked up by 5:15 pm. Please pick your child up at the front of the building. • Registration for classes will close the 2 nd ,3 rd ,4 th &5 th Grades Theme: Picasso Face Art - Pastels Young Artist will learn about Cubism and explore pastels while creating their own portrait in Abstract. WHEN: Wednesday, October 17 th from 3:50 – 5:15 pm WHERE: Amerman – Spanish Room (a NUT FREE room) COST: $18 per student, $15 per one student with parent helper. Theme: Abstract Flowers -Pastels In this class students will develop skills in blending and color theory in Pastels. WHEN: Wednesday, November 14 th from 3:50 – 5:15 pm WHERE: Amerman – Spanish Room COST: $18 per student, $15 per one student with parent helper. Theme: Mixed Media Mania – Collage/Animal In this class students will explore the world of Mixed Media develop skills in cutting/pasting to create an Animal that is jumping off the page. WHEN: Wednesday, December 12 th from 3:50 – 5:15 pm WHERE: Amerman – Spanish Room (a NUT FREE room) COST: $18 per student, $15 per one student with parent helper.
