CIS CIS would like to welcome to Northside our new part-time Mental Health Specialist Paulishia Augillard, LPC. We are excited to bring her on board to be an extra sup-port for our young people. She is currently located in the CIS office on campus A314A. Paulishia worked for Da-vis under the Project Grad organization in 2007, and we are so pleased to welcome her back to the Northside family! FAFSA Application opens October 1st *In order to apply for financial aid, students will need their parents’ 2017 IRS 1040 tax documents *Seniors (and their parents) can make appointments to get 1-on-1 help on the FAFSA from the college center Most NHS seniors qualify for $6000 a year in FREE money to pay for college. Make an appointment to apply today! NHS College Fair is October 10th from 9am-11am *11&12th graders will attend with their classes *9th & 10th graders need to request a pass from the College Center to attend PSAT testing is October 24th from 8:30AM-2PM *Parents please do not schedule doctor/dentist/etc. appointments during this time. *9th, 10th & 11th graders will be taking the PSAT college readiness exam Students can study for the PSAT using Khan Academy (access this website through the Hub Digital Resources) Keep a lookout for weekly emails from the College Center *Seniors receive a scholarship email every Tuesday from Ms. Garner 9th, 10th & -11th graders receive a College/Career Prep Program email every Thursday from Mrs. Savoie
