PBL –Expectation Focus for the Week This week’s focus for PBL is:

“Follow Instructions” Even though we only have a few weeks of school left for 2019, we still need to follow instructions. In order to know what to do, you must listen first and then follow the instruction. It is actually easier to follow an instruction than not to follow it.

Thank You to Our P&C Thank you to our P&C who have purchased a chilled bubbler for our students to use. It was installed over the weekend. It is located near the canteen so all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 can assess the chilled bubbler. This bubbler allows students to fill their drink bottles with chilled water and drink directly from it.

AECG AGM Meeting Notice Griffith AECG would like to invite you to come along and have your say in all areas of decision making of your child’s education. Date: Wednesday 11th December

Time: 2pm

Venue: AMS

AECG meetings provide opportunities for Aboriginal people to be actively involved in all decision-making that is relevant to education and training through a collaborative consultative process.

Year 4 Borambola Excursion Year 4 went to Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre on the 20th, 21st and the 22nd. Wombats did kayaking, raft building and swimming on the first day. On the 2nd day, we did rock climbing, BMX riding, archery and two swimming sessions. On the last day, we did the low ropes and initiatives. The food there was really yummy. We think the activities there were really fun and if we had ONE wish, it would be to go back there! By Cliodna and Aurora

At Borambola there were lots of activities, great food and chores. The kids had to do the laundry, serving food and work in the kitchen. We even shared a room with friends. We even had fun activities before bed. One of those activities was the Borambola show and we had Mini Olympics. There was also fresh fruit. There was rock climbing, BMX riding, low ropes, initiative course, kayaking, raft building, archery and BBQs for dinner. At the Borambola show everyone got a shop to work at and everyone also got to go to other shops to buy things and it was super fun! An example was the beauty salon kids did hair and nails there. We had a thing called giggle time where we turned off the lights and went to bed and talked to each other for 15 minutes and we got this time before sleep. By Alicia and Ramel
