Choir and Senior Band at Festival of Gardens On Sunday 15th October our Senior Band and Choir performed at Rosewood Park for the Griffith Festival of Gardens. The performance was extremely well received by a large crowd of parents and other supporters and we even got a free sausage sizzle! A big thank you to the Jamiesons, Jodie Smith and Mrs Careri for being our 'roadies' and helping us transport our equipment. The next weekend performance for Senior Band/Choir is Saturday 28th October for Children's Week in Memorial Park. A note has gone home this week with all the details. Our GNPS musicians are so in demand now! Mr Pendlebury

Entry to Government Selective High Schools for Year 7 in 2019

Parents or carers of Year 5 students who wish their child to be considered for placement in Year 7 at a selective high school in 2019 need to apply now. Important information:

Parents must apply online at https://education.nsw.gov.au/public-schools/selective-high-schools-and-opportunity-classes/year-7.

Applications for entry in 2017 can be made online between 10 October 2017 and 13 November 2017.

All applicants are required to sit the Selective High School Placement Test to be held on Thursday 15 March 2018.

Aurora College is a selective virtual secondary school. With Aurora, students attend their local high/central school and connect with specialist classes and teachers in English, Mathematics and Science. It means that they do not have to leave home, or school, to access extension opportunities. Parents may consider their children sitting the selective test to keep their options open in 2018.

If you would like more information please contact Ms Bourne at school.
