Guidance Tips for Success• 7 classes per semester• Grades can be accessed and viewed via Home Access• Final grades posted at the conclusion of each semester• Yearlong Course = 1.0 credits • One Semester Course = .5 credits• Grading Scale:

* A (90-100)* B (80-89)* C (70-79)

• 7 additional points are added to a final grade higher than 70 in approved Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses

HOPE Scholarship RIGOR Requirements

• HOPE Scholarship Program will average failing grades and passing grades in ALL core classes.

• College Prep pathway students will need a 3.0 core GPA –(partial pay)

• Vocational/Career Tech students will need a 3.2 core GPA • Honors points will be taken out for the HOPE average. Only

Advanced Placement courses will carry additional points (5 on a 4.0 scale) toward the HOPE average.
