North Shore Animal League America is holding it’s second annual Walk & Wag on September 29th at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington NY. This dog-friendly walk provides the opportunity to create community connections by bringing individuals, families, and companies together for a common goal - to help save the lives of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

In addition to Walk & Wag in Port Washington, this year Animal League America is introducing a National Virtual Walk. This option is for the animal loving community who wish to support our no-kill mission but are not able to attend Walk & Wag in New York. Virtual Walkers can participate individually or with a team and walk on a trail, treadmill, or around an office building while raising important life-saving funds in any town, nationwide. Why Get Involved: By becoming a sponsor of Walk & Wag, companies are able to reach target audiences through our vast marketing efforts. Walk & Wag’s Marketing Reach: • Walk & Wag Participation of 500 people nationally • Geotargeted and national reach emails (database of 800,000) • More than 1.7 Million Facebook Fans • Logo and/or company name on NSALA Walk & Wag Website (225,000 monthly visits to the League’s homepage monthly) • Included in printed Paw Prints newsletter with distribution of 180,000 • Geotargeted national print and radio outreach throughout United States
