bathrooms, a playground and plenty of room to bring the whole family.

There will be a small admission fee of $10 ($15 on site) to reserve your registration. Please send your donations via

One paid admission entitles you to enter one car in the car show and receive two raffle tickets and two food tickets.

We will provide food (Burgers, dogs and soda) to those who register. If you would like to bring something else, there will

be an additional BBQ pit available.

**SAVE THE DATE**NLF Christmas Celebration will be held on Saturday December 8th from 4-6pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus

will be there and we will have a photographer on site taking pictures with Santa.

Cypress-Tomball Democrats Host Election Night Watch Party Nov.

FATHER AND SON RAISE FLAGS EACH WEEKDAY AT CYPRESS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Michael Shassere and his son, Nicolas, began raising the American, Texas, and Christian flags at CCS each weekday morning at the beginning of last year, when Nicolas needed a service project for Cub Scouts. Mr. Shassere writes, "Nicolas enjoyed this so much that he asked Elementary Principal Mr. White if this could be 'our service to CCS.' As we all know, parents are rushed in the mornings getting children ready for school, carpooling, and off to class. With this project, Nicolas and I enjoy focused father-son time, sharing in the fact that even such a small act is an act of selflessness, and as such, honors God, our country, our state, and all the staff at CCS. This is our time to give back to our school, and we are honored to do

this each day. As written in John 3:16: 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.' - The ultimate act of selflessness." Nicolas added: "I like raising the flags because it helps the school, it's good for the country, and it's respectful." CCS is thankful for these volunteers who help us to remember to honor our country, our state, and our Lord when we see our flags flying high above the campus.

Cy-Christian StudentsJAM to Set World Record

Students and teachers at Cypress Christian School - along with children and adults from around the country - took a one minute fitness break to participate in the first ever JAM World Record 2012. It was a quick, easy, and FUN routine for students of all ages and abilities. This national initiative was created to raise awareness about the importance of making good health choices and physical activity a daily habit. JAM World Record 2012 along with Let's Move in School urges everyone to support schools where every student has the opportunity to learn healthy habits and participate in a quality physical education program. CCS joined the effort to reach the goal of two million JAMmers! Shown “JAMming” are fifth graders Aubri Garrett and Katie Bretz.
