NCSSM Residential Student Enrollment

• Students enrolled at NCSSM from all of NC’s 13 Congressional

Districts

• 93 of NC’s 110 counties represented on campus this year

• Residential Enrollment (Grades 11-12):

• 2012-2013 = 680 students

• 2013-2014 = 1267 applicants for 350 11th grade spaces

Mandate

• # of Bed Spaces Divided by the # of CD’s in the state 350 (available bed spaces) ÷ 13 (CD’s) = 27 approximately 27 Applicants Per CD

~and~Flexibility Allowance

• ± 2.5% of 350 = 8 Per CD 27 + 8 = 35 Maximum in a district 27 – 8 = 19 Minimum in a district
