Phi Sigma Pi Scholarship Chair April 2012-June 2013 Plan and execute educational events including but not limited to: educational guest speakers, job fairs, trips to museums, festivals, zoos, etc., educational symposiums, etc. Oversee a committee of 7-10 peers, helping them to facilitate discussion on event planning as well as delegate appropriate tasks. Communicate regularly with other officers and our National Board to ensure adherence to organization policy. Compile a Scholarship Chair Portfolio of planning and events to share with future chairs and chapter members. SKILLS As a teacher I have developed excellent time management and communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel, data compilation and analysis skills, long-term planning, flexibility, commitment to my work, a passion for helping others, and polished my professionalism. I am also comfortable reaching out to community members and speaking in front of crowds. I feel confident that I can generalize all of my skills to any position within your organization.
