Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add shallots, mushrooms and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes or until soft.

Add beans and brown lightly. Add thyme and broth. Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 60 minutes or until beans are tender.

While beans are cooking, heat another large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and onions and cook, stirring often for 10 minutes or until brown and sausage is cooked through.
