AWARD REQUIREMENTS:
1. Nominees must reside, work or be active in the state of New York.
2. The act of courage or humanitarian service can be ongoing OR have occurred any time after January 1, 2017.
3. Award winner must be willing to attend the WCFR Seventh Anniversary & Fundraising Gala on October 6th, 2018 in Nyack, NY. In addition, winners must be willing to participate in interviews and photographs for media and promotional reasons.
4. Entries must be submitted by July 31, 2018.
TO NOMINATE YOUR HERO:
Your nomination should include:
1. All the requested contact information
2. Description explaining why your hero deserves to be recognized
3. Supporting documents such as news articles and photographs
After the submission deadline, local community leaders and event sponsors will be invited to join the New York Hero judging panel to select the award winner.

The New York Hero will be selected based on the degree to which their acts of heroism uphold the values of Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. and leave a lasting and positive impact on the residents of New York State.
You can attach additional sheets, news clips or photographs to your nomination package.
2018 WCFR New York Hero will be honored on October 6th, 2018 at the WCFR Seventh Anniversary & Fundraising Gala in Nyack, NY.
