Nokia N1 Tablet Review!

Nokia has revealed the new N1 Android Tablet and this news were still come as a surprise. After all Nokia complete X-series of Android Phone look to come to its end, but with this Android tablet it is clear that it will definitely going to attract customer.

Design

It’s actually thinner and lighter when compared to iPad Mini 3. It is just 6.9mm thick and 318 grams in weight. The “unibody” aluminium design gives the premium look and feel which is much more than what expected at such price range of $249.

The Headphone jack, volume button, camera and the bottom facing speaker panels are all placed in almost the same way as it is placed in iPad mini 3.There is also a C-Type USB connector.

Screen and Battery

The Screen resolution is of 2048 x 1536p which gives a clear and crisp display. Hence, it is a good for watching HD videos and movies. But it lacks anti-glaring coating and hence it is not good for use in bright light.

It has battery of 5300mAh and Nokia has claimed that it will give 9 hours of backup under heavy use.

Performance and Camera

The N1 comes with 2.4 Ghz quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor (a 64-bit processor which is similar to the A8X chip that comes in current iPads). It has 2 GB of RAM and there is a 32GB of internal memory.

The tablet has 8 megapixel camera on the rear side and the front facing camera is of 5 megapixel, which is the most impressive part of this device which allow users to make video calls.

Android 5.0 and Z Launcher

Nokia N1 runs on latest Android operating system that is Android Lollipop. There is also pre-installed Z launcher which will help users to navigate among the apps and contacts by swipping the fingers on the screen.

Price and Release Date

The Nokia N1 will first launch in China in the month of February next year and it will have the price tag of $249.

Unfortunately, there was no confirmation made of when it will be going to launch in European and North Americans market.

At this price tag Nokia is definitely going to appeal lots of people towards its new Nokia N1 tablet as this is the first complete Android tablet that runs Android Lollipop.
