NOTICE-CUM-INVITATION FOR DAVP/DIPRL EMPANELLED FTRMS FOR PREPARING A DOCUMENTARY OF THE UNTVERSITY

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad invites proposals from

empanelled firms with Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP), Government of

India/Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Languages (DIPRL), Government of

Haryana for preparing a documentary of the University. The duration of the documentary

will be about 5-15 minutes. The job will be given on DIPR/DAVP rates approved by the

Government on the basis of firm's profile and presentation before the Committee

constituted by the Competent Authority.

Interested reputed firms empanelled with DAVP/DIPRL are invited to present their firm's

profile and presentation on the proposed documentary work before the Committee on

January 5, 2021 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM in the Board Room of Vice Chancellors Secretariat

at J.C. Bose UST, YMCA, Faridabad. The presentation may include experience of similar

theme work, description of contents, visuals, music, treatment and approach to be adopted

for the film. Other terms and conditions of Government of Haryana will be applicable.

The firms should submit duly filled application form along-with requisite documents, sample

CD of similar work and proof of empanelment with DAVP/DIPRL (Government of Haryana) at

the time of presentation. The University reserves the right to accept or reject the job

without assigning any reason. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the presentation.

BRIEF BACKGROUND OF THE UNIVERSITY

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad (formerly YMCA

University of Science and Technology) was established in 2009 vide Haryana Govt.

Gazette Notification No.29 of 2009 dated 16.9.2009 (Haryana Act No. 21 of 2009). The

University was started as YMCA Institute of Engineering, which was established in the year

1969, as a joint venture of the National Council of YMCAs of India, Govt of Haryana, and the

Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany.

An Institution that had a humble beginning as a post diploma institution and famous for

generating skilled technical human resource for the industry, has elevated in 2009 as

University of Science and Technology to further create competent human resource in

diversified areas of Science and Technology. Thus, the University has a wonderful legacy of

over 50 years and it has been consistently contributing towards creation of competent

engineering professionals and entrepreneurs.

The competence of the University has been recognized at various levels by the agencies like

UGC (grant of 12B status), NAAC (Grade ‘A’ accreditation), NBA (most of the technical

programs are accredited) and NIRF (best ranking amongst State Technical Universities in

Haryana). The State Government has recently named the University after great Indian

Scientist Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose (1858 - 1937), the father of modern science in the

Indian subcontinent.
