TODAY marks the launch of the Kairos media portal at http://kairos-media.org. The initial launch is for the video portion of the portal only, but you can upload both video and music now. If you know of anyone who has made some good videos, encourage them to upload them. By good we don't just mean Christian. We want high quality secular videos as well: they can be about cooking, hobbies, nature, humor – you name it!Soon Kairos will begin sponsoring recording sessions in our main locations so those who have written songs will be able to perform them and get them uploaded to the site. (It will take a day or two before your video or song is available because each submission is reviewed as part of our safe-site approach.) A “prayer room” will be added soon. There you will be able to download to your mp3 player a 15 minute audio of morning prayer with worships songs, chanted psalms, and prompts for intercession and thanksgiving. A booklet will be available that matches each day of prayer. We need your support. How?

Often half of the songs in countries where English is not the first language are songs from American or British singers. The list below gives the number one songs this week. In the 19 countries listed, all but five of the top hits are in English. Ten of the other 14 number ones are by Ke$ha or Lady Gaga.The top hit in the most recently published chart in China was Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus.
