Select this queue to view a list of individuals who have submitted disclosures with any “yes” responses. Click an individual’s name to begin review. The document will automatically display in the window. The work folder will also show any previous activity for the current review cycle.

When the document has been reviewed, select the take action button for next steps.

A question will appear asking whether or not the disclosure is complete. Select yes or no, then save.

If more information is needed from a disclosure with a yes response, a text message box will display a list of information usually requested. Select the appropriate item and/or provide any additional instructions. Select send to return the disclosure for updating.

If the “yes” responses are complete, a window will display a list of three types of conflict of interest categories. Enter the appropriate category for the information identified in the disclosure and if needed, request an expedited priority. Refer to the Reviewer Disclosure Guide under reviewer resources http://conflictpolicy.nd.edu for assistance with assigning a category.

When Category A is selected, no Management Plan is required and the disclosure will be forwarded to the UCC or UCC Chair for review. No further action is needed unless notified by the UCC.

When a Category B or C is selected, a Management Plan is required. A template will display for you to draft a plan for the member to review and/or complete. Sample management plans to cut and paste are available at: http://conflictpolicy.nd.edu

Important: Do not enter info into the template until you are ready to send to the member. Once “send” is selected, the plan will be routed to the member for review/input. The “cancel” button will erase all text on the form. Select “cancel” if you would like to return later to draft the plan.

The home page displays a tab with a box on the left titled “Life Cycle View.” There are three queues available from which the Reviewer may choose an action.

The No Conflicts Queue displays disclosures that have all “no” responses. The majority of disclosures you receive will be in this queue. The Departmental Review Queue contains disclosures which have at least one “yes” response. The Awaiting Member Action Queue contains items to be returned to reviewer.

This queue displays the names of individuals who have returned disclosures indicating “no” to each question. It is not necessary to view each disclosure unless you believe a disclosure may be missing information.

Highlight the names to approve the completed disclosures and remove them from this queue. They will then be stored as complete in the system.
