April, May, June, JulySummer blue or winter skyWinter, spring, summer, fallOh, I really love them all!
IN THE SPRING what I love best in my garden are the birds building nests.
In the spring what I love most to do is fly kites.
In this quiet story a young girl and her older companion describe the garden they love as it passes gently through the seasons. Originally published in 1960, IN MY GARDEN, by beloved picture book author Charlotte Zolotow, has been freshly reimagined by acclaimed author/illustrator Philip Stead as an homage to nature, friendship, and the passage of time.
.
Charlotte Zolotow (1915-2013) wrote over seventy picture books, including Over And Over, illustrated by Garth Williams, and Mr. Rabbit And The Lovely Present, illustrated by Maurice Sendak. She was also a distinguished editor, and later publisher at Harper & Row, and her own books were published by over twenty houses.
Philip Stead is the author of A Sick Day for Amos McGee, winner of the Caldecott Medal and Charlotte Zolotow Honor Award, illustrated by his wife, Erin Stead. He has written and illustrated many picture books including A Home For Bird, All The Animals where I Live, and his most recent collaboration with Erin Stead, Music for Mister Moon. Philip lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

MARY AMATO is the author of the popular Riot Brothers series, The Word Eater, Our Teacher Is a Vampire and Other (Not) True Stories, and other novels. She is also a songwriter and musician. Her home is in Hyattsville, Maryland. Visit her at maryamato.com
JESSICA MESERVE has written and illustrated her own picture books as well as other books that have been published in the US and the UK. She was born in Maine and lives in England.
The big talent show is coming up and Lucy McGee and Phillip Lee are sure that they have a hit on their hands with “The Together Song.” They’re shocked when Scarlett steals the lyrics and tries to pass off their work as her own. Have no fear, Lucy and Phillip aren’t finished scheming yet. But then, neither is Scarlett.
The spunky and hilarious Lucy McGee stands up to bullying, makes some pretty bad judgment
calls, and still figures out how to bring the whole Songwriting Club together in this high-spirited
follow-up to News from Me, Lucy McGee.

Lucy McGee’s ukulele is missing—and if she doesn’t find it soon, she’ll be kicked out of the Songwriting Club!
When Lucy learns that YouTube songwriting stars Ben & Bree are playing a show on Saturday and they’re giving away a free ukulele, it seems like the perfect solution . . . if she can get a ticket.
Soon, frenemy Scarlett announces that she has an extra ticket to the show, and everyone in the Songwriting Club is trying to win her over. Lucy McGee will have to get extra creative to find out what happened to her uke and to charm the always-scheming Scarlett in this humorous but heartfelt illustrated chapter book.
Check out the back of the book for lyrics to all the songs. Hear the songs at maryamato.com/lucy-songs/.

“Fun accompanied by useful life lessons.”—Kirkus Reviews
“Lucy has an appealing earnestness and a Ramona-esque tendency to act first and think later.”—The Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books
Lucy McGee can’t believe that popular classmate Scarlett Tandy has asked her to join the exclusive Craft Club. There’s just one problem: Lucy’s dad already signed her up for the Songwriting Club.
When Scarlett tells Lucy to skip the Songwriting Club, it’ll mean lying to her parents and disappointing her friend Phillip Lee—but if Lucy can be super-extra secretive about it, they’ll never find out . . . right?

BY NEW YORK TIMESBESTSELLING AUTHOR

Banks / Fearing
#1“What are you waiting for? Open this book right now!”
—Tom Angleberger, New York Times bestselling author of the Origami Yoda series
Eleven-year-old Tom is desperate to fit in, but he’s hungryand howling, not to mention half dead. Blame it on the vampire . . . and the werewolf . . . and the zombie . . . in
this monstrously funny new series from Emmy-nominated SpongeBob SquarePants head writer Steven Banks.
Thanks to a series of unfortunate bites, Tom is now part vampire, part werewolf, and part zombie. Just in time for the first day of middle school. So much for his Invisible Tom Plan. He never thought to make a What If I Turn into a Vampire-Werewolf-Zombie Plan. Maybe it’s time for a Run Away and Live Somewhere Else Plan?
With the help of his irrepressible best friend, Zeke, Tom tries to accept his future. Zeke thinks being a Vam-Wolf-Zom sounds EXCELLENT! (Zeke thinks everything sounds EXCELLENT!) At least Tom can stand up to the sixth-grade bully. But will his friend Annie still want him in her band? And will the rest of Hamilton Middle School accept the Vam-Wolf-Zom, too?

Twelve-year-old Dash and his best friend,

Beach, where Dash’s family has a house.
But nothing is as it seems. The beach house
is a shack, Dash’s weird relatives are there
too, and the neighbors are super creepy.
And then ghosts start calling out to Dash

RICHARD FAIRGRAYis a writer, artist, and colorist, best known
for his work in comic books such as
Blastosaurus and Ghost Ghost, and pic-
ture books such as Gorillas In Our Midst,
My Grandpa Is a Dinosaur, and If I Had an
Elephant. As a child he firmly believed he
would grow up and eat all the candy he
wanted and stay up as late as he liked. By
drawing pictures when he wasn’t meant to
and reading all the things people told him
not to, he has made his dream come true.
Richard splits his time between Los Angeles
