Compounds from styrax benzoin (styracaceae) Styrax species contain egonol (natural

benzofuran)- an effective pyrethrum synergist. (Takanashi & Takizawa, 1988)

The elucidation is done by using NMR 600MHz with deuterated chloroform (CDCl3) as solvent.
